If you're not being sarcastic; Dan Henderson was the USA team captain on the last season of Ultimate Fighter, and kicked the **** out of my boy Bisping at the last UFC. Still though, if that's the main bout, I'll have to agree with you!!
UFC fans weren't crazy about the headliner, so now Dana White has Vitor Belfort fighting Rich Franklin in the main event instead.
Dont know this huy either. And I'm serious. I dont like UFc but I know Machida, GSP, Rampage, Lidell and few others. But who are these guys.
Rich Franklin is very well known amongst UFC fans and MOST casual fans alike, he reigned over their MW division during the "boom period." Also consider Franklin's last PPV performance did as well as Floyd Mayweather Jr's non DLH/Hatton conquests and that was on tape delay. I'm sure Floyd/JMM will outdraw the UFC event but it will be close, a lot closer than we're expecting. I still say boxing only wins out by about 50-100 buys.
I'm not sure which one was scheduled first but if the boxing event was planned first.... dana white is a ****ing idiot for trying to make a statement there will be 1000x more promotion for floyd vs jmm then ufc 101... ufc wont be able to go gun for gun against golden boy in terms of promotion... itll just screw up boxing & mma's #'s but mma will still have WAY less
hard core boxing fans & hard core mma fans are going to buy the cards regardless... right now boxing & mma will be fighting over the mainstream fans... and its stupid because there isnt enough fans to go aroudn in the first place
UFC has plenty of cross over fans from boxing, ESB is proof of that...I doubt many hardcore UFC fans cross over to boxing though.
its not gonna make a huge difference as true boxing fans are still gonna buy pbf jmm and the mma frat boys are gonna buy the ufc, if fedor was fighting that night it would boost the ufc ppv higely but have little affect on the boxing figures, the mexicans and black amerians are gonna be the customers for the boxing
