Sam is going to hard to beat because of his style IMO Bika has the best chance because he will get just as dirty as Sam.

Hold the criticism a tad. After seeing tonights fight, my thought wasm its almost unfair to have a guy like Soliman in 5 round fights!!! The guy was ****ing built for the short haul:good

Now, Alexander could have done more but jesus!!! Give Soliman credit!! An unorthodox banger who throws more punches than 99% of the foes anyone can face, that's a tough proposition in a 5 round fight:yep

Alexander came up short on the learning end of the decision. his biggest mistake was not unloading when he stunned Soliman with an uppercut. At that point he should have went balls out and threw until Athe ding:good

Credit Soliman for doing what veteran knows best:hey

It didn't look like Soliman was actually stunned, gotta see the whole fight to be sure, but it looked like Soliman being Soliman and the editing trying to make Max look like he hurt him and had a chance, but it didn't look like he was stunned at all.

I don't know about soliman not being stunned, he took some major lefts and a few uppercuts that looked like they rocked him a bit. i was rooting for him, but was almost flinching at the fact that alexander didnt follow up with any flurries or anything after his big shots... mouthpiece thing was pathetic btw...

It's so hard to say, they edit the whole pace and speed of the fight, speeding up and slowing down, adding sound, etc.

****, if you go by the last seasons they used the same damn shot landing multiple times in the same fight from different angles, and used different parts of the round in different orders, so that you didn't actually see stuff happen in the actual timeline that it occured.

Sam is the very definition of top contender...hopefully he does well enough in this to get one last title shot at his natural weight class.

I thought Soliman was definitely stunned unless he was faking, trying to draw Alexander in - Alexander is a *****,he hadn't the nerve for this fight. He looked scared, then he spat out his mouthpiece and i thought he was ready to quit until he hit Soliman with a good uppercut but of course he didn't follow up losing any chance he had to win. With so much at stake i don't know why Alexander didn't go all out when he appeared to have Soliman in trouble. He has some talent but no balls and will never amount to much

This is why I have a hard time with the show. I'm happy boxing is getting some mainstream airplay, but the fights on the show itself frustrate me tremendously.

Looking forward to watching the uncut versions later.

i found they made Alex LOOK Better than is he, by adding all these effects, and making the fight closer than it seems, it was great too see sam fight, love his style i call it The "Drunken Sam" Style, i think sam will only improve in this small tournment, Now there still some great fighters coming up, Paul williams, Wayne, and Bika

yeah those damn edited fights make me not want to watch the freaking show. 5 rounds = 15minutes, less bs more fight and still make it an hour long to create the ultimate show.

mate sam is a middleweight at most not a suppermiddle he did this for the opportunity, he said after the mundine fight taht he was going down a weight division because thats where he was suited but i guess he got given the chance and you have to take it..... i reckon sakio will be too strong for everyone there 5 rounds or 7 rounds in the final is perfect.....

Sam did win wide. But I was wondering watching it if Alexander might have done better with more rounds to work with. BUT, what did have me ready to break **** and no one's touched on it yet, was how big a ***** Alexander was when his ***** ASS girlfriend came in the locker room treating him like **** and he just put his head down and took it from her. Then she said "well I still love you anyway." ???? WTF?? ***** shoulda been gone right there.

Yeah that was definitely a little awkward. I don't think she was really being a *****, I think it was just that he knew AND SHE KNEW that Max just had a real shitty performance.

Although I liked that Pepe didn't come in and stroke the boy's ego afterwards. He let Max have it, which is exactly what he deserved.
