Jennings only looks good against roadsweepers. Brook will retire Jennings.

I'll be going to this ... classic British match up. I hate to pick against Jennings he's a cracking lad but maybe Brook is a little special.

Same here, Jennings is one of my favourite boxers but I do think Brook could be quite special and go on to world titles. I'm hoping Jennings can pull off a decision, outboxing Brook over 12 rounds.

Like both fighters to be honest.

Any news on when/where this fight will happen? Will definitely go to this one.

I think Brook will have too much but it will be a real good learning fight for him

I expect Brook will have to work hard to land his punches, and he'll get caught a few times if his chin is in the air when he throws, as it often seems to be

Good fight in prospect but I'm taking Brook's punch power to settle it eventually

This fight will show Brook to not be all he is being hyped up to be. He will come through to win I reckon, but is getting dropped on the way and tagged too often for people to afterwards still be saying he is special or world champion material.

I think they are making out that Brook is some kind of wrecking machine. But 13/20 is hardly Nigel Benn-esque, especially bearing in mind 14 of those fights have been against oppo with losing records.

Most of the guys he has stopped......

Lomax had only beaten mid-range domestic oppo, lost easily to Watson.

Elwell had stoppage losses to Senchenko and the fearsome banger, a shot Ted Bami. Never beaten anyone of note.

McIntyre had been stopped five times, but was a decent operator - his best win probably to date.

Barrie Jones was reasonable, but had a loss to Doherty.

    Hardly exceptional form.

I'm not trying to make out Brook doesn't have it, I'd say he will outpoint Jennings...... but this isn't far off an Audley Harrison type step up when he faced Williams the first time.

Mid range domestic oppo to a solid Euro level fighter.

Yeah but that was early on in his career though. He has really got his head on his shoulders now... same with Cleverly, he has a record that suggests he's not a big puncher, but again they were earlier in his career. Man straegh develops at different stages of peoples careers and they're both still young.
