This information is false my Grandfather died at the mater hospital in south brisbane. His funeral was held the wednesday after and Leo Butell of the Queensland boxing association was a guest speaker.

Good to see you on here Brad and thanks for the correction. The incorrect place of death information came from ANBF President Alan Moore and an obituary should be accurate. Bobby was living at Bulimba Nursing home but was taken to the Mater Hospital for his final rest. The information has now been updated on this post and elsewhere. For your information, we will be recording the tribute to your grandfather at the Hall of Fame this year and posting it online. Keep punching. The Sweet Science team
