No Current Cruiserweight can beat Adamek

I think Cunningham can beat Adamek in the rematch. If Cunningham wasn't knockdown 3 times, he'll had beat Adamek.

 

Nope. Adameks chin, speed, and power will prevail Lebedev. Although Lebedev is a hard banger and I like him but Adamek is all wrong for him imo

 

Aint no "if's" when it happens 3 times...1 time maybe but not 3.

 

Guillermo is tough and is willing to go to war with Adamek...

Cunningham made it close in the end, even with 3 knockdowns against him.... Steve has a legitimate shot at beating Adaemk...

And if he can tighten up on his punches a little more, Troy Ross isn't far off....

Afolabi would go the distance, but not sure if he wins...

Cunningham had a pretty good shot, and he still does. Thats why that fight was so good, there was alot of back and forth action. Its not like Adamek walked though him in 1 round.
There is also Guillermo Jones, who is a dark horse.
And the one and only Jirov is coming back.

Cruiserweights will be exciting once again sooon.

Haye would, but other than Haye I would have Adamek as the favorite against the rest. There is no really good fighter there. If someone like Dawson came up he would beat Adamek rather easily though.

But of the current bunch I think Adamek is the best.

it is too bad haye is intent on getting his ass kicked at hw, because haye-adamek would have been the first cw superfight in a while. if he isn't too old b-hop would school adamek--hop eats up obvious guys....uss remch would be another great fight and i'm certain uss could prevail

I agree that Guillermo is the 2nd best cruiserweight and has the best chance of defeating him.

 

I would favor Adamek always but I think Cunningham and Chambers can level things up.

Guys like Wlodarczik, Huck, Jones, Lebedev would have smaller chances.

 

I personally think that Adamek was still trying to get his cruiserweight legs under him when he went up against Cunningham seeing as that he was facing the de facto #1 guy in the division. Yeah, he beat Bell a few fights before but the truth was that he faced very little resistance in that fight as I feel that Bell was a spent force due to the wars he had been in. Cunningham was a live body who had proved his mettle by both winning and defending his title in Europe. Adamek's pre-Cunningham cruiserweight fights did little to prepare him for such a test so he found himself having to really find an unconventional way to win against a difficult guy to fight and he did just that, capitalizing on openings and riding the resulting knockdowns to victory. I'm not saying that Adamek was in awe of Cunningham but rather in the position of being up against a naturally bigger and faster opponent who he would not necessarily be able to dictate the terms against like he had done against previous opponents. That can make a guy hesitant and that's not good against a guy with a workrate like Cunningham's. Now, knowing that he can beat Cunningham (and take his biggest punches), I think Adamek will be willing to take more chances in a rematch and thus, come out victorious once again.

 

It'll be nice to see Jirov back but I doubt he has much left in the tank. The guy's been out of action for more than 2 years now and was showing signs of wear. Who can forget him laboring to a draw against a shot Orlin Norris? I don't think Jirov will factor into things. Jones, however, is a difficult opponent for just about anyone.
