I know that 1.3 gigs is a little bit big bug like I said I had to convert it and I tweeked the audio and video so that it would come out high quality. Unfortunatley I dont know how to compress it down any smaller. Im sure that once the initial seeding is done someone else will put up a smaller version.
If anyone wants to download the documentary check boxpicks just posted there on the ESB BRIT FORUM LEAGUE
I just watched this last night online. It’s a little loaded and the film maker makes it very clear who are the villains and who are the victims rather than let you make up your own mind but it was still well worth watching. Resto was easily manipulated because of his low intelligence and upbringing. He was also dishonest until it no longer suited him to be so and therefore whilst his life had been tragic I had little sympathy for him. Panama was a reckless piece of **** only interested in his own ego and finances. How people like that get through life being rewarded and hailed always saddens me. Billy Collins appears to be your stereotypical hick who saw his chance of fame and fortune pass him by so he quit on life. His dad is portrayed as a money grabbing heartless c*** that kept his son in that fight rather then pull him out and risk the gravy boat. He then chased a pipe dream of law suits rather than let his son continue to box on and try to rebuild after the tainted loss. Compelling story and I’m sure there are plenty more of them in boxing yet untold.
Anyone know if this ever got released in UK/Europe, I;ve tried on Amazon, play.com etc but can't find it, anyone got any suggestions?
DVD is advertised in this month's Ring magazine - as mentioned before, Lewis appears not to give a shiny one about the whoile sordid story.
The subject matter is very interesting and it's a story that needs to be told but the documentary itself has been criticised by some for being manipulative and biased. I wouldn't mind watching it myself though.
I watched this a while back on that online tv website that should not be mentioned here. It's a great documentary, Resto clearly has had a pretty terrible life since that fight whereas Panama, presented as the real villain here, has been doing not too bad for himself and continues to get supported in the boxing world.
I didn't feel sorry for Resto, the bloke only seemed interested in getting forgiveness over what he's done rather than feeling any genuine remorse.
watched this ages ago when it was on youtube. wat do u make of panama lewis training zab judah for the cotto fight. thats if i remembered it right
Watched this for the 1st time last weekend... couldn't believe how good this was!! I was abit dissapointed by Resto when he eventually confessed in the end... but i was disgraced by Panama Lewis, think he's complete scum of the earth and was lying through his teeth throughout the whole film. What a *****!!! Well worth the download.
