That's a fact, Tua was a beast, and he was making the fight against Lewis by coming forward throwing bombs. Lewis was also using his jab but he was throwing right hands from the first round on. Anyone who is not cautious against Tua better have a damn good chin because he has power for the ages. He could also move his head very well. If he were 6' instead of 5'9, he would have been champion.

Who has been in more better fights that wasn't boring Lewis or Wlad? hmmmmmm. Lewis vs Briggs, Mercer, Rudduck, Holyfield rematch, Grant, Mavlovic, Vitali weren't close of being boring. Can you name me atleast 7 fighters that Wlad been on that wasn't actually boring in which it was a very good fight? Hmmm Brewster in the first fight? Oh wait Brewster ko Wlad. Hold on hmm against Sanders? Who wait Sanders ko Wlad but it was a very good fighter while it lasted lol. But umm seriously the only fight i can remember Wlad won that was a very good fight even though he hug like theres no tommorow and that was against Sam Peter.

No disrespect to any fighter, but, prime Tyson would of knocked Lewis out. If Rahman and McCall did it, Tyson would of done it easier.

But, I still think Lewsi would of knocked Wlad, even though, he has improved as of late.

The different is Lewis won't be lazy and Lewis wouldn't not train hard if he fought a prime Tyson. Lewis would be better prepare vs Tyson.

Couldn't disagree with that statement, but, Lewis had a bad habit of leaving his hands down. Tyson would of took advantage of that just like McCall and Rahman did.

Yea but Lewis wouldn't be stupid to leave his hands low though if he had fought a prime Tyson. Lewis knows Tyson has a power in both hands. The reason Lewis leave his lands low vs Rahman in the first fight cause he didn't know who Rahman was before the fight in which he didn't even train for the Rahman first fight. Lewis thought Rahman was just a nobody that he would easily beat. Lewis like i said wouldn't do that vs a prime Power in both hands Tyson. Yes Lewis has a habit but thats only he knows if the fighter doesn't have a punch to threaten him. Lewis didn't do vs Tua in fact Lewis keep his right guard up cause he knows Tua favorite money is the underrated left hook.

And Lewis would have taken advantage of prime Tyson like Douglas did.
See what I did there :good

Fact is prime vs prime this would be close however you cut it, if someone has an edge it's by the smallest of margins. I have Lewis just ahead based on the Smith, Tucker and Douglas fights and the fact that even Tyson himself said, and I quote, "I would never have beaten this guy" after the Lewis-Tyson fight. I won't argue with anyone who says Tyson by close margin. I will argue with anyone who says it's an easy nights work for Tyson, or Tyson would ko Lewis late (something Tyson rarely did).

Remember 2 things about Lewis's losses:

McCall - His corner told him to go all out and ko McCall, that's right, the guy with the unbreakable chin. Those tactics wouldn't be employed against Tyson.

Rahman - The worst Lewis ever looked, unacclimatized and lazy. Look at the rematch, THAT was the real Lewis.

He also said after the fight that he would like a rematch beacuse he belives he can beat Lennox if they fight again. So I wouldnt put so much into this.
Smith was just in there to survive, it's hard to fight a fighter who doesnt want to fight, but I do think Tyson got a little over frustrated at times during that fight.
I was always impressed how Tyson managed to actually box Tucker and outjab him in the later rounds (10 or 11 I think). The Douglas fight is not a merrit for disscusing Lewis-Tyson prime - prime.
The biggest problem with Lewis is his suspect chin and Mike's combination's plus speed. It's very hard to belive Mike wouldnt connect once. If Lewis had a proven chin I'd say it would be a tough fight that would likely go to distance. However I dont see that happening.
And I rate a prime Tucker (so the one who fought Tyson) to be just as good as Lewis, yes you heard me, I said it. But with a much better chin. :hi:

The thing is Tyson, at the very least in his prime, had the ability to knock the living hell out of anyone. He had the speed to catch anyone, he instilled enough fear in his opponents for it to dramatically effect the outcome in his hey day, he certainly had power, and his size forced him to fight differently to near every other heavy weight at the time.

He always has these tools - no matter who he's fighting. And in his prime, I reckon Lewis would have to be damn snappy with that jab allllllllllllllllllllllllllllll night or he'd go down like a fly. Even then a fearless Tyson would probably tuck his head down and try to walk right through it - whether Lewis could do the damage then determines the outcome of the fight.
