Since when do you need to be a puncher to be stopped. Floyd stopped some tough guys...Kosta could not do it with the one punch he was landing at a time on Hatton but with floyd is once he starts to connect the accumalation and his ability to land at will will cause a stoppage. And you guys seem to forget Hatton damn near throwing up his lunch every time he was hit to the body in his last fights..Jumping in the air acting like he was hit low when the punches landed no were near the beltline.. Hatton can take a good shot..but when he starts to get hit and when he tries to answer back he gets hit again.. A counter puncher that is as accurate as they come with handspeed and every punch in the book and a very EFFECTIVE body attack that broke down the same come str8 forward fighters like Hatton WITH NO DEFENSE. AGAIN.. HATTON has average-bad defense with his gloves and he is a target standing on tall on his toes never crouching ..BULLSEYE:bbb

Hatton is not made of iron, he will get Lacy'd in this fight and eventually give out. He's particularly weak to the body and this fight is at 147, Floyd is an excellent body puncher and will open up on Hatton.

    Plus, Hatton cuts easily.

If you rate Calzaghe HIGHLY I would have no beef with you. But you rate Calzaghe like a deity if I spelled that right. But anyway I give you the fact that you do recognize extraordinary talents like calzaghes and mayweathers that are not these one dimensional one fish two fish red fish blue fish fighters. And Sosa has better movement then hatton and WAYYYYYY better defense with his gloves and he did not try to swarm floyd with constant punches..he made floyd initiate..Hatton is coming in reckless or aggressive...which is reckless with his short arms and lack of jab and defense..What you should be looking at is what collazo did to his ass on the INSIDE..not know running slick soutpaw left hand counters..COLLAZO COUNTERED HIM AND SHOOK HIM OUT OF HIS BOOTS ON THE INSIDE TOE TO TOE. MAking hatton miss his wide one BIG PUNCH at a time and countering him. Floyd is sharper, more accurate and faster. :hey:yep

    :good

I thought I was the only one to see Hatton damn near get knocked out by body shots landed by Urango..lol...and he jumps in pain every time he is hit..Floyd digs AT RANGE WITH HIS SHOTS..HE DONT HAVE TO BE NEXT TO HATTON TO DRILL HIS BODY..HE DOES IT WITH THE JAB AND LEAD RIGHTS. These guys need to get a clue.

I agree, this is an absurdly uncompetitive bout. It's a stylistic dream for Floyd, because Hatton does not pressure in the manner that presents Floyd trouble, because he does not jab in, he comes in head first for inside fighting/rough housing, this leaves him open to ripped to pieces because his defence overall is pretty poor, save for his rough housing tactics, which dull the opponents offense.

However, Mayweather will just land 1-2's all night, I could see Hatton getting dropped and finished by those alone, not to mention the body work and combinations when they fly at him.

And Calzaghe is a boxing deity, he is supernatural.

Floyd has a nice jab to the body, but he certainly isn't a great body puncher. He is no Miguel Cotto or Castillo thats for sure. He is an accurate counter puncher, but he isn't going to knock hatton out with jabs thats for sure, or punches off the back foot. He just doesn't have that sort of punching power. Floyd only stops guys when they are really out of there league like Gatti. Hatton is world class, like i said, no way in hell he gets stopped. Anyway, have fun on your month off guys.

You are confusing the way Hatton fights against southpaws with his normal fighting style. Hatton has most trouble against southpaws because it negates his jab. He loves coming in off it against orthadox opponents, as well as his left hook. He clearly favours his left hand, which is why Collazo and even Magee gave him trouble. He will jab against floyd, and he will get inside at times. It will be more competitve then you think.

Amsterdam I agree with your piont though that floyd has most trouble when pressured with tight defense that limits his countering opportunites. Hatton will present too many openings, which is why he will win. I just don't think he will ever KO a vicious and dirty fighter like Hatton.

Dont even talk about his left hook:rofl:rofl:rofl Floyd will see that leaping wildly flung thing a mile away..I never seen him actually land the "leaping fall in to the opponent and hold after I miss left hook" If that punch comes out ....:happy:happy

He knocked down Collazo with it, knocked out Maussa with it and has tagged almost every fighter he has fought with it. If you watch more of his fights I am sure you will see it land. Phillips and Takie ate more then their fair share also.

Floyd by TKO or I take the month off. If Hatton wins I'll take two months off. If Hatton gets a KO or TKO I'll never write on ESB again.
