regardless, tua hit ike clean multiple time and couldnt hurt him, unlike tua, tyson had great power in both hands.

iron mike vs. the terminator would of been a classic. 90's mike not as good as 80's, but he still had the speed and power in both. tua was known for his fight stopping left hook and telegraphed it by putting his body behind it. tyson used hips more, arm punched alittle more, did a 4-5 punch combination, and wouldn't open up as much as tua did. tyson still had the peek a boo style, but with none of the lightning fast head movement he used in the 80's. i think tyson would use his speed, win the first rounds, tua the middle, he was the heavier man, and tyson might of won on a decision. they both had great chins at that time and see both eating bombs, but no ko's for some reason. they had necks like buffaloes

you're wrong again, watch both fights. by the middle rds, tua went into a shell and wasnt being very agressive. he looked rather timid. the reason being he tasted lewis's power. so lewis easily stood back and outboxed tua because he wasnt throwing that much while tyson on the other hand was charging lewis throughout the fight, so he was wide open for overhand rights. lennox lewis with his own mouth said "I was suprised at all the shots he was taking". Tua didnt get hit with those type of shots becuase he wasnt taking the risks. and you used steward's quote but why didnt you use the entire quote? his enite quote was some where along the line of " you got a dead man in front of you, go knockout this mother****er out before you get caught with some bull****. if you gonna use a quote, use the whole thing. steward was worried tyson was gonna land a lucky punch because he as still swinging but not landing. tua on the other had doing much of nothing and he didnt present that type of concern. and if you look at both men's careers, tyson has fought bigger punchers then tua and has been caught on the chin flush more times then tua. you cna watch the ruddock fights, bruno I, the lewis fight, etc. and see how great tyson chin is. and fights can you say tua has been hit as clean as tyson has by punchers like that?

During this thread you say TUA does not get tired. Then later on you say he was tired chasing BYRD about.

Tyson would of KO Byrd anyway.

You also go onto TUA fighting Lewis and Tyson fighting Lewis. But this was not a 96 TYSON and Lewis still threw the most fierce punchs I seen him throw on anybody in his career and TYSON took a lot of them and LEWIS was teeing him up and letting them go that chin at the end of career was still there in 96 would still be better. I reckon he could of got up in the LEWIS fight but choose not to which I dont blame him.

Like people have said not many if any fighters have gone on the attack with TUA so he has not tatsed the bombs TYSON has we can even say his chin has not be tested to the limit either because of this reason.

I watched some footage today of Tyson from 95/96 and some Tua stuff. I'm now actually convinced that Tyson would have certainly destroyed Tua. For the following reasons:

-Due to style's, they probably would have smoothered eachother. This only affected Tyson when the other fighter actually tied him up, like Holyfield's cheating ass. Tua never really tied guys up. Tua on the other hand needed to be at just the right distance to get off his power shots, his infighting was really not that great.

-Tua was really just a one handed fighter with his left hook. At best, this was equal to Tyson's in power, but certainly not in speed. In an exchange of left hooks Tyson's would have connected first. The next best shot Tua had was that lunging overhand right, which Tyson would have easily seen comming.

-Tyson could throw KO punchs punches from either hand and at any angle while moving extremely well on his feet, only being tied up was he actually hindered from doing this.

-Tyson's speed, outstanding footwork, combination skills, and ability to throw KO shots at any angle would have just been too much for Tua. Tyson would have gotten off first everytime and seen what Tua was about throw.

-The Tyson from 96' was actually a far more measured fighter, and picked spots more carefully. Tua on the other hand was still pretty green. Would Tua have actually sunk as low as Holyfield did in 96' to beat Tyson? (constantly holding, headbutting, and low blows)

Let me ask you a simple easy question, why didn't Lewis finish off Tua? Lewis could have easily make a statement by stopping Tua like he did vs Tyson in which Lewis took more chances vs Tyson then he did vs Tua.

Tyson gets hit on the chin more times then Tua? Wait i thought Tyson is better at ducking punches and Tua is way easy to get hit? I don't get it.

I already post a reply to proof Tua fought real big punchers then Tyson. Maskaev, Rahman, Ike imo are bigger punchers then Bruno, Rudduck, Smith, Stewart.

all you do is make statements you cant prove. tua wasnt taking many chances, and lewis is a boxer-puncher so if his oppnent isnt being agressive, he not going to be. if lewis went after tua, that would be tua's only shot of catching lewis because, tua wasnt rushing him. and you still didnt acknowledge the rest of steward's quote because you know it proves that you're wrong. as for getting hit on the chin, so now you want to pretend that you didnt say tyson's defense got worse, :patsch. maybe you've never seen this fight

watch the uppercut ruddock nails him with, that knocks his mouthpiece out. and thats just one example of tyson getting caught flush and taking it well.

:rofland if you think tua fought bigger punchers, then you must be tua mother's or one of his relatives.

Lewis never finsihed TUA off becuase he never needed to, he mad a nice easy work of just jabbing TUA for 12 rounds. And anyway LEWIS was not feared or motviated against TUA as much as he was TYSON. A 2001 TYSON LEWIS was prepared for like no other fighter. This was the fight for him and he wanted to make a statment. Lets ask LEWIS who he thinks took the harder shots. He will say TYSON all the way he even said along the line he was suprised he took the shits he threw.

Rhaman Maskaev please they aint testing TYSONs chins as much as RUDDOCK BRUNO etc.

Tua fought bigger proven punchers. Maskaev, Rahman, Ike are tko or ko better fighters then Stewart, Bruno, Smith, Rudduck of the opponents they beat. <<<<You tell me i'm wrong. Look at Bruno record of fighters he tko, how is that proven he's a bigger puncher? Dude BRUNO COULDN'T EVEN KO LEWIS BUT RAHMAN CAN????????? Hell Rudduck couldn't even ko Lewis either.

this guy must be the biggest tua fan on the planet. tua vs. lewis was boring as hell. tua was putting much pressure on lewis so lewis was content on boxing on the outside. now he wants to pretend that maskev and rahman are ko artists to make tua look gud. maybe he thinks rahman is a puncher becasue he dropped tua at the end of the 12th.

now you being silly RAHMAN was lucky with the punch thrown on LEWIS and LEWIS came in that match over confident and over weight.

RAHMAN would never do that again to LEWIS if they thought 100 times after that.

Lewis point blank didn't want to chances vs Tua cause he knows Tua is a dangerous puncher in which is why Lewis was moving away way too much. It's not cause Lewis was more motivated vs Tyson, he knows Tyson has a habit of tieing quickly in which you saw after i think the 2nd round, Tyson was out of gas in which Lewis took more chances with Tyson. Tua even if he was tired, Lewis still didn't come close of taking a chance.
