    ....was thinking the same.. have film of Jacobs vs Ozkan.. must be 10 years ago they fought.

    Hes 39yo fit ad has given the body a good rest, spared danny green 4 weeks ago and went well .

    Good luck to Ian for having a crack.

    We've seen others, including The Preacher (0 from 5), cross over and struggle at much younger agaes though.

    Ian Jacobs is a great competitor. I remember him beating Soliman with a broken leg & went the distance. He toughed out Ozkan in a war, which he overcame a 1st rd KD. Meet him once when he cornered Briggs for the 1st Wilson/Briggs fight. Good fella, I wish him the best.

    yea chris is retired and leapia fighting 2weeks before but nathan carroll is local and they may put leapia on if he pulls up ok

    Jacobs will have his work cut out! Stepping into the boxing world is a whole different ball game...alot tougher and more intense. Goodluck to him!

    Going to stay in on fri night and watch the Di Carlo Card on fox then sat night come to this show! Good boxing weekend!
