Well done Amir. least his says what he thinks and is too stupid to manipulate his fans a'la Hatton. He's right too, who the **** wants to see women fighting ? Its the most ungodly thing to see in a pub/club and I certainly dont want it to start spoiling boxing shows. **** off back to netball feminist ****s
i think its good, i been at a few shows where there were women fights and it brings in extra women to the crowds which is always a plus
For the purposes of olympic equality it should be in there. There are about 20 events on at the same time anyway so I just wont watch it. Its wrong on so many differeent levels I remember hearing abut a fight between two women being cancelled because the pre-fight medical showed that one of the fighters was pregnant! That about sums it up for me
Should they be allowed?, sure why not, you cant discriminate against anyone these days Do I want to watch it, **** no! its shockingly bad like Womens Football (aka ****** Tennis)
Olympic boxing is a joke these days anyway, the scoring is so ridiculous that every time I try to watch it I end up turning opver in disgust after two rounds !
It is a complete joke that in 2009 it is not already allowed. For ****s sake we send women to Iraq and Afghanistan but they can't compete in boxing. I have no interest in watching it, but any girl or woman who has taken up the sport and dedicated herself to training has the right to represent her country and get the chance at achieving something in her chosen field. Women were once not allowed to run marathons because men felt their bodies could not cope, what a load of shite. Either boxing should not be in the Olympics or it should and both sexes can compete. Exactly the same as the pro game, either ban boxing or don't. And if it is legal, then womens boxing should be allowed. End of story. And Khan spoke his mind, he is a Muslim so what do you expect?
I've seen a few women's bouts and a friend of mine is a female fighter (She's a woman, not a man who fights females). Although I agree women should be allowed to box, ive got to be honest, the fights ive seen have been real scrappy affairs, basically catfights, and I really didnt enjoy watching them. Sorry.
Is liking the fact that womans boxing may take off for the twenty12 olympics this will be a great chance for woman who are great at the sport t show off there talents .... aint so happy bout ppl puttin woman boxers down all the time because they might o sin 1 or 2 crap fights ... think its a great chance to open all them biased ppls eyes to how gud some of the woman boxres are ..... look at jane couch she was an amazin womans boxer ... neway i hope t hius is approved and will be lookin forward t seein all the talent out there ...
There are some really talented female fighters out there but the talant pool is so small that getting good competitive fights for the good ones is really hard.
Maybe it being part of the olympics will get more girls into it ! To be totally honest I find it a little hard to enjoy sometimes, I mean I tell myself off for being sexist but for some reason its still there. I can certainly watch it and enjoy a nice move or a well thrown shot but when a finish comes or someone gets trapped on the ropes I cant get into it the way I would in a guys fight. Maybe I'm more sexist than I think I am :-(
my partners sexeist over womans boxing I tell im t give it a chance there are some talented gals out ther .... im female myself wel obviously haha ... i love both sexes in the sport dont watch much female boxin as ther aint much of it around its a shame really is ... i would love t box myself but avent got the guts lol
