LOL I dunno you're coming accross gutsy enough here ! I guess it's just how we guys are programmed. My wife and I did a bit of shotokan karate and at a tournament a few years ago she got cracked a beaut and bust open her eyebrow ( no big deal really ) I was freaking out , while she came wandering back over after the fight with blood all over her and a big grin on her face.

I suppose fighters wife and girlfriends must feel like that too but we guys arent used to being the ones watching , scared , from the outside.

**** it , get yourself down the gym sister :D

So don't watch it. I don't like golf, so I don't watch it, I don't think it should be banned.

It's only fair that women are allowed to box at the Olympics if men are (although I hear they are cutting one of the men's weigh classes to accommodate it, which is a joke:twisted:) but I certainly won't be watching, and I doubt many other people will either.

And I was countering your point in a respectful way, no insults or having a go at you.
I agree with you in regards to the women not being as good, that is the same in all sports and most walks of life.

I agree Strke, I personally don't like watching womens boxing but thats no reason for them not being free to do it and good luck to them.

It's about time. I'm glad to see especially that Katie Taylor is getting so well known; because she's a great boxer. One of my best friends is a woman boxer who trains at the same gym as me; she works harder and takes it more seriously than just about every guy who walks through that door; so I know women are capable of doing it and should have the right to be able to compete in the Olympics.
