To be honest with you Khan comes across as being not the sharpest tool in the box.... I've never felt very compelled to listen to anything he ever says before. I've stuck for him in the past for all the stick he would get but if anyone wants to criticise his brain matter I'll just stay silent.

So you have no interest in any female sports stars? Watching Alyson Felix destroy the 200 metre field is of no interest? Seeing someone like Paula Radcliffe smash the marathon world record to bits and run faster than all but the best men in the world is of no interest either?

Did you never find Steffi Graf a great tennis player?

To me it is simple. They are competing against their own, I have no interest in womens boxing, but that does not mean they should be stopped from doing it. Half of the voting populace are female, who the **** are male dominated sports boards to say women cannot compete in a sport?

There was an interview with some 16 year old girl from a rough London estate who used to chill on the streets taking drugs and hanging around with gang members until she began boxing.
She trains her ****ing arse off now and is in line to represent her country at the London Olympics if womens boxing is given the green light.

If she went on to win a medal how could that story be anything but positive?

Years ago people said that women could not cope with the marathon, that their bodies would be ruined by it. It was of course total bollocks. They wear chest protectors and the argument about breast damage is irrlevant. Men are more likely to suffer damage that is serious to their groins when playing something like baseball, hockey or Muay Thai. Should we ban men because of their delicate balls?

**** me Strike you are a right little femist ***** aren't you ? You genuinely can't stand anyone not wanting women to do something can you ??

Personally I dont want to see women box, therefore I dont watch it. It hadn't been commisioned by the Olympic board therefore its not been banned has it ? The question was whether it should be INTRODUCED !

If it is to be introduced (haven't seen the news yet) then I shall support the British Ladies as I would in any other sport. I just shaln't be watching it !

I am not a lover of female boxing, and i totally agree with Khan.

However what a dummy if that was his opinion he should not have even gone on the show jsut kept his mouth shut. bad for his image.

anyway its probably partly to do with his faith.

The talent pool isnt deep enough to make womens boxing worth while. I bet there are many sports out there women are participating in that are not yet in the olympics.

Let them do it if they want, just dont clog up any of the boxing cards Im watching with it lol ;)

On a serious note, I was a firefighter for many years and it always surprised me that women were allowed to join. The basic training is only a fraction of the strength needed for the real thing and the pc brigade seem to think women are as capable as men of the job. I disagree. Men are stronger and thats just the way it is. Women have all sorts of **** to deal with.....Pregnancies, Periods etc and **** having to sit down everytime you need a **** lol
