I was wondering the same thing....I thought Povetkin wanted a tune up fight first (like it's going to matter, he's still getting KO'd).
Povetkin would like another fight but the IBF has the right to force him to fight (he already backed out once), strip his Mand status if he wont fight, or agree to wait. The IBF is in control of it
They simply should strip Povetkin of his mandatory. His unwillingness to box for the title AFTER winning the eliminator tourney is highly disrespectful of the IBF.
i dont know with chambers as a wbo mando and what being #2 #3 by ibf just go ahead and move him foward with wlad and let povetkin get one more fight in. he is 17-0 and it seems atlas dont have full confidence in him yet but after that if he is not ready than move on. i sure would hate to see him have cold feet on fight night especially in the ring. it wouldnt be good.
:good Chambers looks good against Dimitrenko. But Wlad vs. Chambers will look like Byrd III. No chance for Chambers but i hope the fight will happen. Povetkin is not ready, especially mental. Sauerland talks him into a fight against Wlad with all the **** they believe. But the fight against Chagaev shows how good Wlad is and he could do i a lot better :good Wlad isn“t at his prime he is just learning and he will be better in his next fight. The IBF should Povetkin stripped off and Chambers would be the mandatory for the IBF/WBO. The IBF should make an final eliminator.
Everything I read says its happening. Need to know because I'll be in Germany in December and don't want to miss out on tickets! Too bad I can't get to L.A. in September for Vitali's fight. That will be a great fight. And Chef you seem to know alot about what's going on inside the inner circle.....what's the connection?
Look no further than his username: CHEF. He's Wlad's Personal Chef during training camp, and I think also training camp manager....
I am trying to get an answer. Wlad is in Russia on business. Hard to get ahold of him right now. Ill see what I can find out. BTW. I also cook for Vitali. Not training camp manager for vitali...only personal chef:good
Yeah, cheers:good. How about this- what is the biggest amount of weight you've seen Wlad lift? That would be quite interesting to know:yep.
bench press... 395LBS. 4 times... WOW When we lift the first 2 weeks in camp I lift with him. Usually the bench press gets up to 275LBS but he lifts it 20 times... I die out at 10:|:|
