I remembered as it's similar to my ostrich one. Sexy birds:rofl. I think we better stop the hijacking of this thread.
Faithful to the last arent you. Warren steers Hatton clear of big punching southpaws for the entirity of his time wit him but Hatton would have owned him right? Judah was one of boxing most precocious talents circa 2000 and Hatton ALWAYS had problems with southpaws let alone a southpaw as fast as Judah but he owns Judah right?
The 2000 version of Judah would have shredded 2000 Hatton. But the Hatton from 2002 onwards would have fared much better. Zab always struggled with 'mentally tough' fighters - say whatever you want about Hatton, but mental strength was never a problem until 9th December 2007.
TBH I can't see the need for controversy when appraisng Hattons career, its pretty cut and dried. He was champion for 4 years and has wins over past primes Zoo and JLC, good wins over world class belt holders at 140lbers like Paulie, Urango and Maussa which tells you at the very least he was a very good world class lt Welterweight. On the other hand he has comprehensive KO loses to Mayweather and Manny Pac which tells you he wasn't one of the P4P elite or a "great" champion. On the whole its a pretty easy career to "rank" with very clear upper and lower limits.
exactly right. it's noticeable that more and more are belatedly realising what a charade the Hatton thing has been, how they were fooled all along. if the likes of us have helped bring things to light, then that means our arguments down the years have not been in vein.
At least Jack's hatred of Oscar produced some comic moments such as his 'exclusives from Golden Boy Headquarters' but Betty is just seriously tedious when it comes to Hatton.
Exactly........hence why if Hatton didnt have the sound management behind him he could very well have been thrown to the wolves ala Witter
