I wasn't online much during the Haye/Vitali negotiations so i don't know all the details. What were the terms offered to him? Were they similar to the ridiculous terms Wlad was offering him? If so do you think Haye might have pulled out of the Vitali fight when a Valuev fight became a possibilty as this would give Haye more bargaining power in negotiations with the Klits if he holds Valuev's belt?
If you had the chance to see the Klitschko contracts and there wasn't that confidentiality clause in place you would understand everything.
Big disappointment. For all the talk he put up, then signing contracts and backing out, it is tiresome. I can understand an injury, as they do happen, but to be signing contracts, talking ****, and then backing out... it's garbage. For all the trash he talked about the Klitschkos, both gave him the opportunity to fight them.
See what happens after he disposes of the big ugly giant. If he doesn't go after a Klitschko after that then you can say that he is "ducking" them. Only time will tell.
The excitement is obvious, he gained a lot of people's attention with his trash talk and obviously you're one of them because you are paying attention. I never said he's a heavyweight ATG, his fight with Barrett didn't impress AT ALL either. It's just that the trash talk he started is something the division has been lacking for a long time. It's obvious his trash talk antics work really good, how many tickets were sold in Germany?, 65,000?, that's great for the division. His injury postponed one fight, he's not the first to run into something like that whether you want to believe his injury or not. Vitali looked like a let down too with his 1 year postponement due to injuries, should people **** on him forever because of that? It's normal to hate on him, I'm not asking you NOT to or trying to convince you otherwise, **** no. He deserves the insults he get for talking way too much and delivering nothing. He's not out of it completely though and soon we will be hearing a lot more from him. That makes a fight with either Klitschkos bigger.
He will go for either Klitschko next 100%, his attempt to capture the WBA is an obvious plan to make his fight with either Klitschkos a unification bout. At least he will have a belt to offer and that would motivate Wladimir more.
Haye has crossed the street for more money. Have done it myself. It is all about him and that is the only way it can be. There are no obligations in this sport because if you get hurt they will forget about you real fast. So just take the money and don't worry about anything else. Vitalli has walked away from more fights than Haye ever will and just ask Briggs about Wlad so neither of those guys have any basis for complaint. Valuev obviously pays better than the Klitchko's so he gets Haye if he wants him. Klitchko's can find someone else to lowball.
I guess he was expecting the tickets to sell like usual:hey lol But seriously, unfair terms are normal, he should have agreed, won the fight and that would have greatly increased his name in the long run.
plus Hayemaker promotions offered Monte Barrett chump change and rather poor conditions to come over to London and face him. Haye co-owns Hayemaker promotions and has his say there. On top of that, Haye bragged about the whole division wanting that 'superb paycheck' they'd get facing him when he moved up. Haye shouldn't be complaining about unfair terms when he's sitting in the glasshouse.
Haye did the right thing **** the critics. You're not in the ring absorbing the risk. He TALKED to get his profile raised (close mouths don't get feed). He got what he wanted and the fight was very MARkETABLE.. He got injured and whether you believe the injury or not is beside the point. The deal with the Klichko's was nonsense. Show me anytime in history this person loses and it's contractually bound you HAVE to fight their big brother and they control your rights?? Show me that?? If Haye is such a NOTHING, big mouth why would the Klichko's have inserted that in the contract?? Now he's in a better position. Should he beat this "freak", now he has negotiating leverage. I do think he should have more fights but hey, life isn't fair. He's a draw so he can jump in line of sorts..
I agree, I think hes one of these guys who likes to be in the spot light and once he is done when it comes time for that fight he backs out because he knows he is going to get his ass beat.
Im so sick of that claim. The terms were the same as the Wlad fight and they were all agreed to and many were terms demanded from Booth. vitali signed it sent it to Haye then no sign, no call for 5 days then the Klitschkos find out Haye is fighting Valuev through Media reports. ***** chicken **** moves all the way around by Haye Im sure Haye will say "Klitschko contract issues" if he pulls out of the Valuev fight as well::yep:yep:yep
