    lol no. sorry.

i was actually really looking fwd to this fight but Ricky getting BRUTALLY KTFO'd by Manny & Floyd actually taking up Marquez on his challenge kinda ruined it!

It's a good fight. First 2-3 rounds Ricky roughs Marquez up... but as time goes by, Marquez takes over the fight with his precise counter-punching.

It'd be a lot like the Diaz fight, just a lot more clinching from Ricky.

However, Ricky has a lot less head movement than Juan Diaz & uses the jab quite a bit less now.

Marquez by TKO 10th. Good fight up until then. Maybe not quite as good as the Diaz fight.

Marquez does not have enough power in his fight to KO Hatton. He might counter Hatton but I don't see him KOing Hatton.

Dont apologise when you disagree just call me a ****ing idiot . I was thinking more prime for prime, I think a younger Ricky would have been too much.

Marquez's speed & power are both underrated. He's not fast in his own-right or a big-puncher.. but he CAN knock you out + he will land a lot.

Hatton would get knocked out late after eating some really sweet shots in the 8th & 9th from Marquez.

A lot of this fight depends on where it takes place & how much Ricky is allowed to use the rough 'em up tactics & excessive clinching.

I was a Ricky fan too! But there are certain realities!

Anyhow, instead of this fight, i'd much rather be talking about Juan Diaz - Ricky Hatton // Cotto - Ricky Hatton // Kostya Tszyu - Marquez // Kostya Tszyu - Manny Pacquiao // even Juan Diaz - Manny Pacquiao (back before the David Diaz fight atleast).

Hatton-J Diaz would be a FoTY contender
same with Cotto-Hatton (though Cotto would win by KO, great fight til that point, though)

Marquez-KT is intriguing as hell, as is KT - Manny.

& Juan Diaz would do all the things we wanted Ricky to do + hope Cotto will, in order to actually give Manny a real challenging fight!

    oh okay.

Younger, it is a lil different... I'd probably see Marquez UD though. Not a wide one, mind you.

Ricky doesn't get enough cred on here.

This would be a hell of a fight. I dont care if Hatton is fading I would still pay to watch this fight. This fight would look like JMM Vs Diaz but I think Diaz has better defense but just about the same punch resistance. JMM would find Hatton all night and Hatton would keep the fight inside trading but JMM wont run hell stand his ground and trade in an epic fight:happy

you cant say that without getting flamed....all the *******s would have believe that Manny destroys any man/beast/donkey or gorilla within a 50lbs weight range. Suggesting it would be a close fight you are just going to get hurt

i dont think this should happen i mean JMM is way out of Hattons league, he just doesn't have a difine rite to fite however he wants, there are many other fiters much more deserving of a fite with JMM

JMM all day. No question about it. It'd be a decent fight if Hatton fights on and JMM loses against PBF but, let's face it, if JMM wins against PBF the Hatton fight is nowhere near the best one out there for him:good.

Even a pre-Pacquiao Hatton would lose to JMM. I see him being stopped in the later rounds, similar to what happened to Diaz.

It'll be competitive to begin with, but the one dimensional nature of Ricky will make him fall victim to JMM's intelligence, counter punching and accuracy.

hatton would start the fight with his mauling style and maybe win the first 2 or 3 rounds then marquez would adjust and find a way to start landing some hard counters he will bust hatton up and score a painfull 10th or 11th round stoppage ala JMM vs diaz.
