yeah it is when you've gained international recognition with espn interviews, putting in a top scrap against calzaghe..and then letting your promoter take you back to obscurity by fighting a nobody because he has a belt when a PPV undercard would have done his career so much more good. why do you think oscar got any fight he wanted coming out of retirement or not? you dont need a belt to get top fights..but it can help.
Kessler beats RJJ with ease! This win has obviously added credibility to Calzaghes resume on here with people proposing these "50/50" match ups
To win a title belt. And to be fair Sartison was the third choice after Mundine vacated rather than fight Kessler and Miranda turned down the title shot.
The hater said that. He said that RJJ can still play evenly with B-level fighters and RJJ-Kessler is a 50-50 fight. Doesn't take much to figure that out does it?:think
The big question here is does Jones have enough in the tank to compete with Kessler for 12 rounds or even 10 . Jones against Calzaghe clearly won round 1 with a knock down , but from that point onwards was on the back foot simply because he could not live with Calzaghe's work rate , i see the same thing happening here , Kessler would be too much for Jones . I think if this fight happened you may see the final fight of Roy Jones's career .
kessler by ko one swallow dosen't make a summer atsch Lacy never recovered from the beat down joe c inflicted on him :deal
atschatsch omfg, I hope this fight never happens, Jones would get smashed real bad on this one. People he just beat a one dimensional, very shot Lacy, he didn't do anything else!
Im happy Jones has proved he isnt completely shot, he fought a great fight last night. Lets be realistic though, Kessler would stop him brutally. Prime for Prime Jones decisions him though.
