I cant see RJJ beating Bhop at this stage in their respective careers. Hopkins is way too cerebral and usually executes his gameplans to a tee....If hopkins emulates anything remotely near the masterpiece he showed against Pavlik- this fight will be a wide UD or possible late round stoppage.....

I'm not sure if X EVER really wanted this fight. If he wanted revenge he should have taken the smaller purse. I think X never liked the style match up with RJJ. I don't blame him.

hopkins schooling joe calslappy and pavlik while rj belted lacy does not mean for a hopkins and jones rematch. that rematch is one that should of happened 5-6yrs ago and then it would of had meaning. hopkins is still fighting at the elite level TODAY, not jones. it would be a mismatch in hopkins favor.

to say Bernard is at the same level or even past his best is just stupid.

they have different attributes which means roy has a more spectacular prime with his phenom athletacism but its shorter because as soon as that freak athletacism goes then its over as he hasn't got the fundamental base to adapt

Bernard on the other hand is not a natural athlete but a better fundamental boxer then roy, therefore he stays longer in his prime and depending on how he looks after himself stays relevent long after the roy jones's fade.

Bernard is arguelly better know then when he was in his 30's and definitely better then when he first fought roy and when he was in his 20s.

to say Bernard is passed it or washed up and suggest a match vs Roy jones would even be competitive is just ridiculous. BERNARDS KNOCKS ROY OUT!

i'm glad to see Roy still has his fans but the man is behond shot and clowning a carcass doesn't prove the contrary to that, he should hang them gloves up, no way is he in shape for the top fighters, if he's to continue then he should continue to pick fighters like lacy where he's gonna make money, enjoy himself and showboat as only roy jones can and not get hurt.
