Andre Dirrell and Donaire have hands as fast as Roy Jones Jr. I've seen Andre Dirrell throw 10 punch combos, the difference is he lacks the accuracy and ring intelligence that Roy Jones Jr had. In his prime Roy Jones Jr was unhittable even when he is right in your face. I haven't seen any other boxer do that.

Roy Jones was a slick fighter most of his career, why is he wash up while Calzague isn't? they are only two years apart, something must be wrong.. of course STEROIDS abuse !, if you still admiring him you must be blind or just want to live admiring a lie. Look the video WOW you too can be a Superman just take steroids train like a madman and brake ribs with one puch. **** cheaters

    Seriously...

I dare anyone to show me a display of faster hands from anyone at any weight than at 2:32 in this video. :-( Un-****in-believable...

Keep in mind... Those are power shots.. not jabs.

I will go so far to say that Roy Jones Jr is the #2 best fighter of all time behind SRR. As far as talent, he has as much talent to boxing as Michael Jordan or Tiger Woods had to their sports, the problem is Roy Jones Jr didn't have the defining fights in his prime that would have made him the greatest ever.

So physically/talentwise he was the greatest, but his resume is not the greatest. Joe Lewis also had a better resume so Roy could be #3, or even further down depending on your opinion. The reason I put him at #2 is because its very difficult to move all the way up to heavy weight and win the title, and if he manages to win the cruiserweight title ,he definitely would deserve at least a slot in the top 5 ATG without argument based on resume.

He would have had the title from super middle weight to heavy weight, I don't think you can top that resume on paper.

Can we all agree that Roy Jones Jr in his prime was the most talented boxer who ever lived? Keep in mind greatness and talent are not the same.

Andre Dirrell, CHad Dawson, Manny Pacquiao all have as fast as hands as this version of Roy.

I'd venture to say that in the LHW division Chad Dawson's speed isn't far away from Roy's

There is a specific clip where I saw Roy Jones do something I haven't seen any other boxer do. He had the guy on the ropes and he threw what looked like 60 punches in a few seconds, they were literally too fast for the ref or the opponent to see, the ref ended up stopping the fight. I think that Roy Jones Jr could have beaten anybody.

I mean what can you do when someone has hands so fast that you can't even see the punches? Do any of you happen to know who he was fighting and have a video of it?

    Maybe this is it?

or Bryant Brannon (Brannon kind of looks like Jeff Lacy last night doesnt it, except for the KO) (Brannon had a lot of heart but took an awful beating)
