Hopefully, they can unite with boxing monthly in this campaign.

 

Hopefully the Bunce campaign is rolled in with this as well:bbb. **** you BBC- I want my licence fee spent on stuff other than ****:twisted:.

This is a great initiative and it's fantastic that the Boxing News is driving it. With their contacts you would imagine that something could be done - I dunno what. It'd be nice to get a genuine statement from the Beebs sports programming department to find out why boxing has been kicked in the nuts.

But as previous post the whole boxing community must drive this too. Boards, promoters, journos etc.

I'd settle for Britsh title fights with the odd Euro/ world fight involving a British fighter thrown in.

 

As a miniumum, a magazine show is something that should be on the beeb. With the airwaves filled with crap, surely it's only fair that a niche market gets at least 1 show?

EDIT: Stew and Pinhead, as annoying as it is that they have jumped on the bandwagon and are trying to steal the limelight, surely a coordinated effort is now the best thing for all concerned?

Yep, it seems like the Bring Back Bunce has spurred them on to do this. I always viewed the Bring Back Bunce campaign as must broader than restoring the popular magazine show, but to bring more living boxing to our screens. I am glad Boxing News is picking up the baton with this and focusing on the BBC.
