No doubt in my mind , in recent years the most shocking fall from grace in the shortest time was Lacy, whatever is said about him now he was, by americans at least the most hpyed widely regarded fighter before his bout with Calzage.
After the fight he was destroyed, went from hero to zero in the space of 36 mins, 48 mins if you count the min between rounds.

Dominick Guinn. Sad in that he had a good punch and an iron chin.

Michael Spinks - Took his first loss to prime Tyson in one of the biggest fights in the history of the sport in the first round and just retired right after.

I was at the Darchinyan-Mijares fight not even a year ago. I was picking Darchinyan, even though he was a fairly big underdog. It was an exciting fight out there in the Home Depot Center in Carson, where it rained like crazy off and on. SO Mijares now has moved to bantamweight and lost a split decision, he has a rematch coming up, I will wait and see how he does before passing judgement and saying he has totally fallen off.

i know and weve heard all that...but the fact that you used "if" in your post sorta reinforces the point that he aint there yet and to put him there when he is still the mw king, hasnt had a mw see the final bell against him and where his only loss was to the best lhw in the world when he had some documented disadvantages (whether you choose to believe them or not) is unwarranted.

Yeah, being undefeated during his whole career made him think he was invulnarable, but after a good winningstreak losing KO in the first round is very shocking. Not only he knew he can lose but he can lose royaly:think

True, but I hope the showing against Rubio proves nothing more than a tune up for future fights. It took a little too long(er than usual) for him to put him away and since then... No but you're right, let's see a couple of more fights first:good
