I wish RJJ would punch Rico and see how Rico's jaw holds up. HATER STAY OUT OF RJJ'S THREADS. U ARE A RJJ STALKER PEEKIN IN HIS WINDOW. DID HE SAY NO TO AN AUTOGRAPH TELL US WHAT HAPPENED MAKE US UNDERSTAND. P.S. YOUR HEAD IS TOO SMALL FOR YOUR BODY.
Rico suffers from a condition known as 11q partial trisomy. It's a genetic disorder. Symptoms include: Small head Facial deformities Mental ******ation Micropenis (in males) Given what a steaming pile of **** his life is (no fault of his own, blame God) it is no wonder that he has so much hate for others more successful than him, and those who have normal cranial proportions.
Its only after Jones handled him so easily his weight then became an issue .The man could never make weight yet he still fought on..Its not like he was dead in the water like Oscar vs Manny .. But rgardless ..Toney was the man at 168 at the time far from just a belt holder ..Dm may have had the lineal belt but he was hardly the man to beat in the division .. If Jones had won he would have been dismissed with ease due to the lack of popularity in the US no one was dismissing James Lights Out Toney win or lose .That imo was his defining fighgt ..But who knows how that fight would of turned out ..DM stayed put as did Jones I blame both parties for not making that fight .
Roy's biggest challange and he did his best to avoid it. I know people will say that both men did this, but if you claim to be the best, you've got to prove it against the best and throughout 90% of Roy's career, Michalczewski was that man. Even if there were a smidgen of a chance that DM knocks him out, RJ was an ego maniac who , along with HBO, wanted nothing more than to pamper and protect his image and his "legacy". It was very fortunate for Roy that DM was an unknown in North America, otherwise this fight would have been demanded earlier on. Its true that DM was much slower than RJ, but he was also more much powerful and had a heart of a champion. DM by TKO.
No need to debate the outcome of this fight.Jones decision to avoid DM answers all my questions.Roy would have dominated but at some point DM would have caught up with him.DM KO/TKO
Untill 2003 it was one of the 3 most interresting 'should have happened' fights at 175 along jones-tarver (before jones' 'move to hw') and tarver-michalczewski. But just remember that jones ducked almost every dangerous oponent at every weight class : wouldn't a fight with liles could have been interesting ? what about nunn ? what about a prime toney at 168 , before he had an eating disorder and had troubles making weight ? mcclellan at 160 ? too dangerous ! jackson at 160 ? i think jackson would have won , but i remeber hearing (in the vaca fight) jones wanted terry norris .. (cause he was very stopable - significantly smaller + chinny) jones picked the following : vaca - a 154 pounder who said he won't fight if jones will weigh above 154 (jones weighed 158 , but will vaca refuse the money?) , a drained toney at 168 (toney's last fight at 168 , ) , pazienza at 168 , fat and drained toney at 168 (2 years later toney weighed 200 for a fight and 3 years later couldn't even make 175) , jorge castro (only after terry norris beat him) , a 40 years old mccallum (orginally 154) at 175 that tiozzo checked for him before and jones still had to go 12rds with him , etc .
I think at that time Michalczweski probably would have lost on points but he would have made Jones fight. Dariusz had an excellent jab in his prime and i think the fight would have been alot closer than most people think. Jones UD 116-112 imo
