No. Diaz is not garbage. The judge who scored the fight 118-110 is the one who's garbage.

nobody is saying juan diaz is an elite fighter. all he does is come to fight and entertain the fans. in fact, i think he's one of the most unathletic boxers around today. he comes in pudgy, he doesn't have any power to speak of, he's got a short reach, he's short for a lightweight, he doesn't have a whole lot of speed but guess what, he comes to fight and i cannot recall a boring fight from him ever. but on top of that, he was a worthy lightweight champion with seven title defenses. but on top of all that, he's a good well mannered young man!!!!

 

Diaz isn't garbage he fought a guy last night who was a hard style match up for him. Diaz is a good fighter and fun to watch.

 

Diaz would box circles around your sorry ass. If not then I must be talking to Paulie Malignaggi himself.

 

I wish more fighter's were of the garbage variety then.
