    The thing is, like has been said, he showed good conditioning throwing 1200 punches and fighting strong down the stretch (he came like a lion and won the 12th by a landslide IMO - I almost punched out my TV screen when I saw Lederman's final tally awarding it to Klassen before Harold set the record straight that it was a production/graphics error :lol:) but he was tired from the 5th on after a Judah-esque opening 4 frames. That's the crazy thing - his physical conditioning isn't actually that great - it's like 80% mental that he was able to be his own slavedriver and crack the whip for the last eight rounds (doing himself what his limp-dick trainer gets paid for).

    The first three rounds he looked great, but then started declining slowly but surely, then got a second wind mid-late in to the fight. After when he started getting tired he started doing many things that allowed the other guy to tag him. Leaning in forward, throwing wide punches, etc... but this started as early as the fifth round. If it would have been a better opponent last night, he would have been in some serious trouble. Nevertheless, he gets credit for staying focus late in the fight and not breaking down or giving in to the pressure. It was a good test and I say he passed with a B.

    He isn't extraordinary at any one thing- he's just a tough fighter who goes in there and throws a lot of punches. A six foot southpaw who doesn't use his height or reach to his advantage at all. What's not to like?

    Guerrero will get knocked out as soon as he fights someone elite at either 130 or 135. People just have to enjoy the ride and appreciate him for what he is, an overachiever with a really good work ethic in the ring.

    he's an over achiever in the sense of a greg haugan was .. or a manuel medina is .. he doesn't have too many over the top abilities but he knows how to win and thats what makes him a champ...

    Potentially he is an overachiever, but Robert Guerrero is still pretty early into his career. He has yet to step it up to proper elite competition, whereas both Manuel Media and Haugen were found to be wanting against the likes of Chavez and Marquez. Let's see how he progress, and how he looks next time out when his injured left hand should be fully mended.

    I haven't seen him fight, but from descriptions, it sounds like that Omotoso kid who knocked out Augustus on Friday fights with a very offense-first style.

    He fights his ass off everytime he can.

    I got exposed to the man being there for his sick wife, and he's got a fan in me forever. Few guys can fight that hard in their lives, much less in the ring.
