    JMM fans are proud to say JMM beat Juan Diaz. After seeing his recent fight with Malignaggi....I'm not really impressed by him after all.

    His close fight with Malignaggi proved he's not really as good as projected is this forum.

    If PAC fights Juan Diaz after PAC's fight with Cotto..

    What will boxing fans say?!

    PAC cherry picking for FIGHTING Juan Diaz?!
    PAC cherry picking for FIGHTING shot Juan Diaz?!

    What?! Cherry Picking for fighting JUAN Diaz but JMM fans give 101% credit for beating Juan Diaz?!

    I'm puzzled?! Double standard?! :rofl:lol::rofl

    i've always thought that pac would make quick work of him.

    funny how you'd get laughed out of this forum years ago for suggesting otherwise.

    I remember juan diaz after winning a fight in houston, daring pac to fight a young mexican champion instead of old mexican champions. Well, he ended up being ktfo by a so called old mexican champ.

    It will be interesting to see how he will fare against the current pacman because pac has brutally ko'ed a bigger opponent and juan diaz will not be hard to find for pac because he will keep on coming at pac which may be very very dangerous for him.

    Two years ago, i'd say diaz wins by decision.

    This time, HOUSTON people will never ever save their baby JUAN with a
    MAJORITY point decision.

    He was an undefeated young unified cahmp at the north of pac's division during that tije so it was understandable. Even experts would have picked diaz two years ago just like when 98% of them picked oscar to win.

    Yes, chery picking. Why fight Diaz, when he could fight Mosley? If they signed everyone knowns that Diaz would be a dead man walking. No point in that fight.

    Pac would beat down Diaz. He should stay at 135.

    i actually like diaz. he is talented and a great champion at such a young age. he was rated fine but about 2 years ago, he was somewhat rated highly by some guys here like amsterdam. they even said back then that pac has no business going up to 135 because a young bull in juan diaz is waiting for him there. now at hindsight, we know that juan had a terrible series of loses. no shame in the jmm loss because jmm is an elite, class-A boxer. but being beaten by campbell was a bad break and fighting malignaggi did not improve his standing. i hope he bounce back after this string of setbacks.

    back then, i really like pac's chances against diaz even if juan was still unbeaten. now, i think this would be a mismatch in pac's favor.
