I can't believe Vitali isn't on any P4P list.

Vitali's success isn't reliant on his size

Vitali on a P4P list? Are you crazy? He looks semi-clumsy compared to his younger days and even then he ain't up there p4p. If a little guy used his same exact style and wasn't bigger than most of his opponents he would get knocked the f out. Do you even understand what P4P means? Obviously not!

Vitali had his success mainly due to his size use in defense and not necessarily his boxing skills (I don't think I have ever seen him display more boxing skills than the very basic).

Skillwise he doesn't rank very high. Take away his height and you don't have much of an effective boxer left.

Add that to the lack of impressive names on his resume and you got your answer

Sounds like Mayweather's competition. I guess the hommies get points for being hommies.

That is boxing, it is not easy to fight so good on the outside. I don't think mayweather could do it better, if he fights a smaller fighter.

What makes a good boxer in your view, Vitali is knocking everybody out without getting hit that much. You can only critisize his opposition but not the way he fights.

There are also advantages if you are smaller. Do you think that tyson could fight that good on the inside if he would be bigger?

And they were PROVEN wrong in the thread "Absolutely No Doubt Vitali Would Have Got KO'd In The 7th".

No way that thread could have gone on for literally thousands of posts without a decisive conclusion and it was this: Vitali ran out of gas in the 7th, was stumbling around and grabbing onto Lewis's waist to keep himself up, and couldn't see properly on the right side. It was OVAH!

    ...

    Wait, what? :huh

Vitali's defence and offence depends on being tall. Without his height he'd be a Carlos Maussa: tough and heavy-handed, but too easy to hit and counter. That's not putting Vitali down: be as big as you can be, but if P4P means anything it means factoring in facts about boxers who are dependant on their size.
