JMM will lose simply on style-that's not to say he is not a great fighter, but the matchup is horrible for him.

This is probably Nacho covering his own ass before the fight. I thought Marquez was a tic too slow for Diaz at 135 and Diaz is no Mayweather on speed. I think it's going to be the biggest difference of the fight.

I've said from the moment this fight was announced that it's a huge joke and that Marquez is going to get slaughtered, as he's a natural FW, is 36, had never even fought at LW- let alone WW- until a year or so ago. Naturally, a bunch of people on ESB said I was an idiot and that JMM would beat Mayweather, etc., etc. But, wait and see. Fans of JMM (and he's my favorite active fighter) are going to be cringing. His corner will be forced to throw in the towel.

This is the reason why if there was a Pacquaio/Marquez 3 that Pac would definitely win. Pac is/has been able to move up in weight in a healthy fasion and keep all of his speed and quickness. I don't think JMM can do that.

I think most of the JMM fans know the difficulty their fighter is facing, and most of them acknowledge that JMM will lose in this fight...

I think you were referring to the floydettes, who acts like this is an even fight, so their idol will get full credit...who are they kidding???

Your right, I can't remember ever in recent years where going into a fight Floyd was trying to convince the public how good his opponent is rather than talking **** and telling people how much his opponent sucks. That's the reason why this fight isn't selling. Floyd sells fights by trash talking and creating drama in the build up to the fight, in this one all of his trash talking is aimed at Pacquaio, a guy he's not even fighting.

If this is true, then they would've known or suspected this would happen before agreeing to the fight. I don't believe a word of it

Of course it's true. Marquez lost speed going up to LW. He's going to lose a ton of speed going all the way up to WW. Marquez took this fight because it's his last chance for a really big payday.

Really, he could have fought Hatton, Khan, Pac and got a bumper pay day.
