Prime Tua Vs Prime Tyson???

In none of his fights has Tyson ever faced a guy with the skill and attribute set of David Tua. It would have been highly interesting. I'd give the edge to Tua for a TKO within 10.

Prime Tyson would win a decision because he had quicker hands and Tyson has a good chin. But I think the Tyson who fought Buster Douglas would get knocked out. Tua hits harder than a prime Tyson but a prime Tyson had discipline and really fast hands.

Tyson went the distance with lesser fighters. He would outwork Tua and he is better at everything Tua does. So a clear UD for me.

I have to go with iron mike. Tua is one of the greatest fighter that never was. He may have been unfortunate. I thought he would be the next tyson.

It's just a style thing.

Tua's chin is pretty much iron and can't be broken.
Tyson's chin can be cracked, as we have seen.

Tua and Tyson will pretty much stand in front of each other and bang away.
Tua has the power to stop Tyson, Tyson has been stopped by much lesser punchers than Tua. Tua maintains his power throughout 12 rounds. Tyson's got better skills and speed, but he's not going to get on his toes and box. He'll be there right in front of Tua. If TYson doesn't go down, he wins, but Tua has a good shot at putting him down.
