Ok well the terminology id use is contenders rather than prospects. I consider prospects fighters within their first 15 fights who show potential to be champions. BTW Are you upto date on Juanma, he ****ed up ponce de leon then just ****ed up bums, has he got a serious fight in the works or what?
Dean has flown under alot of peoples radar Goldenboy and some oher promoters are in negotiations to sign him hes taking his time picking a promoter that his team feel are right for him :good
nice... THANK YOU guys... im gonna go through this thead and youtube as much as i can these names. appreciate it
Kolya who was that amature that you posted vids of that one time? i think he was a cruiserweight... and could punch! kinda reminded me of tyson to be honest.... you remember?
Pavlik gonna ****in Destroy that korobov.... Im afraid nobody of these young middleweights gonna stand a change against Pavlik..
Thats if he stays at the weight, i dont know why but i can see him chasing bigger fights and moving up.... though personally im a fan of ruling one division and keeping it on lock down.... i hope pavlik stays at least long enough to get a decent title defence run, he can always have the occasional catchweight fight but id like to see middleweight stay his home.
It was def a hit to the JR Middle division, and to boxing.... whos to say really how kirkland would have done, i could see him easily becoming a big name..... he had been a favorite prospect of mine for awhile, and id never really followed a fighter from being pre prime to enterering his prime accept cotto really and now hes out before he could capatalise on the momentum he was gathering.... damn shame.
lara korobov degale sutherland rigondeaux i really like krobov love his style, hopefully he is put on pac coto undercard
I don't think those fighters he's been ****ing up are bums. You watch Penalosa and Lontchi those are highly technical fighters who don't have the physical strength to beat him but still have the skills and toughness to elevate his game to another level. Those fights are part of a process that will mold JuanMa into an elite fighter. Throwing him in against the other wolves after one big win would have been a mistake. the two guys he fought right after Penalosa were useless but I think Arum was cashing in a little bit. Mtgawa is a bum too I dunno whats the deal with that one. Maybe Arum wants to see how much JuanMa can draw in NYC and also keep JuanMa busy and in the headlines while he is negotiating for a better fight out there. (maybe Caballero, Rafa, Gamboa or Vasquez) I'd rather see him active against lower-tier opposition while waiting to get the big fights than inactive.
