Pac vs the best at 135-140 instead of diaz, DLH or hatton

Ricky Hatton was linear champion at 140. The only other good fight at that weight maybe Bradly.

 

He did fight the best at 140 in Hatton. Also, DLH, no one give him a chance regardless of if Hoya was weight drained but as soon as he demolishes them people change their opinion.

With the fighters you mentioned I would throw in Nate Campbell, kendall holt. I am not saying that any of these guys would have beaten Pac but I do think they would have provided better challenges and erased the fact that Pac fought fighters that were only tailor made for him in his last three fights.

 

Yes but nobody knew that till the fight happened. Now if Pac did the same to those guys you mentioned, it will be the same BS all over again.

 

I agree that Hatton was a tremendous win for Pac but DLH wasnt, it was a money maker. Anyone in Pacs shoes would have done the same thing I dont give him credit but who am I? The fuker is making millions now and thats more important than credibility in todays boxing.

 

Im not a pacquaio fanatic i liked him when he was the underdog but no one from 135-140 beats him but marquez but joan guzman takes him the distance and nate cambell gives him a tough fight but he knocks out cambell in a tough fight also devon alexander gives him a tough fight

 

Bradley gives him a tougher fight then Campbell.
Khan, whom he spars with, would give him some trouble too.
Urango would not be light work.
Diaz gives anybody trouble.

But fighting Cotto is far far more challenging then any two of those guys put together.

the dlh win is a very respected one. against a much bigger man.
these are the fights he should have taken. (if risking himself by going that high)
i think he was 143 on the night of his last 130 fight - marquez.
maybe the david diaz was a good choice (gave pac a belt)
but maybe he could have chosen better.
marquez is more proven now at 135 , but who cares ?
pac proved himself above 135. you can see the diaz fight as a tune-up fight that also extended pac's belt collection and proved that he is still very good if not more at 135.
if someone moves up in weight and beats a reigning 'champion' in his higher weight in his first fight there - what is bad in it ?

 

I think he would be anyone on the 135 lbs. right now.

He beat a contender like Diaz and has beaten current lightweight champ JMM. He did a good choice by going up to 140 and fighting Hatton (the champion) and also by beating a much bigger man like DLH.
