I have had so many parents tell me at football practice that they don't want their kid to get hurt???? then the kid would snap his leg...meanwhile i have been trining fighters for 11 years and have never seen a serious injury like that...in football the collisions are brutal

 

yea I always get this too, I played hockey growing up and had a few concusions, broken teeth, and a broken rib. I have boxed for 3 years now and have never had anything more than some bruises and a headaches..

 

my mom when i was a kid said; never begin to box. some boxers have been so damaged that they can not even read donald duck.

I had just downloaded the Cotto/Margarito fight and watched the entrances and intoroductions with a friend of mine. I told him I rooted for Cotto and after a while he says "what are you talking about, Margarito is the man, look at him, he looks like a rock star".
