    He also has great stamina.

But lets not pretend size doesn't matter.

in a way , getting a narrow/close/controversial decision is a thing to earn a shot - it demands continuation/rematch , something like an extra round , though it is 12 extra rounds (or less if it will be a huge surprise)

those 4.5 or even 5 inches will make a diference , suddenly ruiz' jab improves (becuase the reach grew) and his chin , which is already better than wlad's becomes less reachable (would have prevented the tua loss and maybe more) his height would grow and then those hugs with evander suddenly be harder and more exausting for evander.
and the ruiz that twice gave valuev a tough fight , suddenly manages to win maybe twice. against chagaev , it would have also be exactly what would have been the factor to prevent another close loss and make it actually a win .

a man of wlad's size , if he has speed or footwork and chooses to use any of them , is flirting with injury. really , wlad's fast , has footwork ?
in what fight did they appear ?
that ring generalship you talk about is exploiting his physical advantage.

see how many things come with height :
    1) longer reach - better longer jab with more leverage and also hookable ,
    more 'RING GENERALSHIP'
    2) higher safer chin
    3) bigger dry weight - more power , better hug , lean and push ability

maybe i forgot something else , someone knows ?

i guess that both them and their trainers lack that little piece of brain that thinks about things like these : what can i do better ? what was wrong ? why did that happen ?

Punisher33 answered but i can add : see my previous answer about mcbride and someone. i can add more : i really think that valuev doesn't want to kill nobody and it got too deep in him. remember how lightly he even trained for the holyfield fight. why bother ? meehan is pretty big , but still not wlad's size , and yes it does matter. wlad and meehan are close in size , meehan and barrett are close in size , barrett and chagaev are close in size - so chagaev and wlad are close in size ? it's just gradual.
i only wish that if valuev someday have a fight with some klitschko , he'll take it seriously and fight for real - to stop his oponent.then you'll see the :fight :gayfight expression of vitali in the kirk johnson fight met with :bbb:bokc:ko:beat .
and he won't have what it takes to escape retaliation this time.
with wlad it can even get worse as we know.

I agree with you Ruskull, as you can see in my posts before, I defended Wlad in saying size wasn't his only advantage over his oppenents.

Surely that means that VITLAY holds all of WALDO's belts then, seeing as he beat Sanders, who beat WALDO :huh

Oh hang on, WALDO won them all back when he beat Byrd, right?

Wrong, I read his book last summer "Me, My brother, and I". Wlad said his favorite movie was Brokeback mountain, which he qouted in his book by saying "I really could relate to the movies main characters, I deal with alot of the same in my own life".:deal
