He will be ready, but Void can't lose the fight. It has already been decided. Void has the judges, venue, referee, commentators to tell everyone who has won the fight. Void doesn't even have to fight!
I just want to point out that whenever anyone gains weight, it's always in the belly first. He'll be solid come 9/19.
You are talking of someone who becomes fat because those are the areas where fats deposits first especially among men (women would be thighs and belly). However, in persons who bulk up by lifting weights and ingesting proteins (or steroids), their muscles hypertropies or enlarges (increase mass not numbers) and so therfeore, those muscles that are exercised or emphasized by weight training becomes bigger, namely the arms, forearms, chest. The legs are the hardest to gain mass. JMM's a bit flabby stomach (not much anyway) is just part of him being already 36 years old. It is harder to lose those belly fats once he ages. It is not bad actually because it does not contribute to deteriration of performance. I am sure that they had hardened his stomach muscles to take punches anyway. What worries me is that he looks too bulked up, a bad sign for a boxer who needs to rely on fast reflexes to counterpunch. As you can see, those muscles that hypertrophies are the slow twitch muscles, while he needs the fast twitch muscles in order to have a chance against May. Ideally, he should be at or around 140 at weigh-in, and probably gain 3-4 pounds at fight time. The few pounds difference would not matter much because I am sure that Mayweather would not employ a clinging or bear-hugging match. The most logical scenario is that May would try to soften JMM first by fighting at a distance (he would not take a chance to to KOed by recklessness because that would be embarrassing) then probably finish at a later round. The more that May engages, the higher the chance that JMM would upset him so bet your house that if there would be a knockdown, it would not be an early round.
He's in good shape as always but he won't be loose to fight in close quarters so it's Marquez punching hard and long insted of counter punching in between and out of defensive mode like he uses to... Whole new experience to Marquez of course.
:rofl:rofl I agree with previous poster. Looks aren't anything in boxing. Look at Pavlik. Who knew that lanky f--ker could fight. (Yes I know B-hop made him his *****, but besides that)

yeah, really nice video. Whoever did that has some talent. I laugh when people say boxing is dying. What the f**k are they talking about? the last couple of years we've had Cotto vs Margarito, Pac vs DLH, Pac vs Hatton, Mosley vs Margarito, Castillo vs Corrales, JMM vs Mayweather... Seriously, can anything really top a great boxing match? Boxing is special. It's epic. It'll hopefully always stay that way, but i'd say the period we're in right now is one of the best ever.
well said man, it's good to hear a positive view on boxing, and it is so true. so many "boxing fans" (or atleast they claim to be) now a days side with idiotic UFC comments on how boxing is dying.
