exactly mother****er, this is what makes clottey a tough oponnent, so give shane credit for tkaing him on, you dont want to give shane credit for the challange but yet you think he will loose this makes no sense. hateration.
I'll give Mosley credit if he beats Clottey but i won't give him credit for fighting Clottey. Beside Manny, Mayweather, Cotto rematch, Mosley was looking for a showdown with Berto a paper champion but that didn't happen cause Berto feels they offer him less money. Then there was talk about Mosley vs Clottey but then Mosley change his mind and went after freaking Judah. Dude Judah? are you kidding me? But that didn't happen cause Judah didn't like the less offer he said gbp give to him. Now what about Cintron? Well if Mosley decide to fight Cintron, it will most likely be the same thing with Cintron complain about getting lessor money offer. And who knows if the fight will take place at either 147 or 154 pounds. So that leave Clottey who is really the only one available in which Mosley has really no choice but to fight Clottey or don't fight at all on 09.
I think Sugar Shane wins this one, Clottey will always fight on a defensive mode and isn't too active offensively, he better not do like always which is to stay on the ropes as his opponent hits him and score points. This fight I think will not be different. Mosley UD
What do you mean by "inactive"? Clottey last fight was in june vs Cotto while Mosley last fight was on february.
You think????? It's clearly a no brainer that Clottey is a defensive fighter that always puts his guard up while Margarito is very easy to get hit.
I really hope mosely wins this one cos i like him and think he is worth one more big day out....If he beats Clottey there is still hope but if he doesnt then the fututre could be quite bleak....this has very little to do with Clottey's ability cos i think that he is a really good fiter but he is not rated that highly and if mosley wins it will be so what...however if he does lose then he will fall lower in the estimations of all his big money opponents
I'll take Shane to win it but it won't be easy. Clottey is a tough matchup for anyone. If Shane wins, then maybe we will get to see Shane/Cotto rematch.
If Shane losses, he's still 38 years old losing to one of the top welters of the time, and a man six years younger than him, so his legacy will remain unharmed. If he is able to win in a more convincing fashion than Margarito or Cotto could, it would be a huge boost for his legacy.
He means in the ring. Clottey doesn't do enough to convincingly take enough rounds from the favorites and his occasional habit of laying on the ropes and taking cat naps will only cost him points.
Clottey doesn't deserve the fight, IMV. He had his chance to go for broke against Cotto and held back. Arum obviously threw enough money into the pot to make this happen. Classic Bob, always looking to transpose.
