I don't think you have been following JuanMa's career because if you where you would now that there is one fight that Juanma must take before moving up and that is a 122-pound unification fight against Caballero. And Juanma has said repeatedly that he wants to move up to face Vazquez, Marquez and the cuban kid Gamboa..Celestino has repeatedly called Juanma out called him all kind of offensive names and has gotten under juanma's skin the public demands this fight and his reputation is on the line He must fight Cab before moving up in weight or he will lose a lot of support.

Darryl as you can see, your opinion means nothing here. You TRY to sound like you know everything, but end up looking like an ass.

There's this little thing called an unification bout @122 against a fighter named Celestino Caballero who holds the WBA-IBF titles and who is ranked #9 by The Ring you might have heard of him. JuanMa has already stated his plans to move up and fight Marquez-Vazquez and Gamboa to start after his Unification bout against Cab early next year..

I do think that Juanma needs to step up and fight more dangerous opponents, but is just a matter of time. One can never place the guilt entirely on the boxer when promoters are the ones who sadly lead their way.

I do think that Cotto's resume is very solid though.

I have seen Celestino Caballero fight several times...There is nothing about him that says...WOW!!! Tall, Rangy but VERY BEATABLE. If this is the guy Juanma needs and wants to fight...GET IT DONE!!!!

I just don't see the any reason why Juanma would fight Roger Mbtawa 26-12.
Typical African fighter that stands right in front of you and takes punches...ala Quartey, Clottey, Ouma...etc.

Juanma is 26-0 with a Belt. Why Roger Mbtawa???
So can we ALL agree, after this fight...No more bringing in fighters from Another Continent...Plenty of TOP-SHELF ELITE-LEVEL talent right here in North America and the Caribbean from 126-130lbs.

i agree 100% in that junmaa should have fought a better quality opposition, just dont racial profile any boxer.

The only questionable opponent is the one he is fighting next, and it would be nice to see him try to unify before moving up.
