Jabbing in a bar fight? Are you kidding me? In a bar fight you more likely end up clinching and grappling. Dont forget street fight is not a sport with rules. If you dont know the tricks you lose even as a pro boxer. MMA is closer to street fighting by the weapons they use as ellbows, knees, joint manipulations, and chokes beside kicks and punches. I am not sure if you are being serious about what you said.
That wasn't fair at all, not only did the other guy have to deal with such a height difference, he also had to contend with a floppy fringe.
The referee rocks. This video shows how complete fighter is Vitaly. Not only he can punch, but kick too.
There are a number of Eastern European fighters who were very accomplished kickboxers. Vitali is perhaps the most accomplished of the group, but Wladimir, Marco Huck, and Alexander Povetkin have all had very accomplished amateur and professional kickboxing careers. A lot of people don't realize that Vitali's awkward style is a product of his kickboxing background, as are some of his injuries. Vitali has basically had two careers, one as a amateur/professional boxer and one as an amateur/professional kickboxer. That is a lot of wear and tear for anybody, especially a 6'8" 250lb man.
