you do get some numbnuts on here, brave men calling him a pikey. i would by a ticket to see you say it to his face. in reply to the more sensible out there, time will tell on the big man . he will in inevitably upgrade his trainer in the future so give him a break
Nope. But I've seen three of his fights. And the three pre-fight and post-fight interviews. Based on what I heard, I stand by my comments. What irks you about him ?
Any decent heavyweight sparing partner with a pulse would beat the living **** out of him in the ring. I can see why he's having trouble finding partners
His chin is yet to be proven on any level other than against poor domestic opposition. As for his amatuer pedigree that means nothing, the amateur game is so different from the pro game that it rarely as any correlation. Look at Audley Harrison. Personally I am not impressed from what I have seen from Fury. From what I have seen I doubt he'll do any better than Harrison.
when the current wbc smw champ cant get a tv deal for a massive tourament can we really grudge a guy for a bit of self publication, esp as he knows the itv deal is dead soon. he basically only has a few more fights in main stream view so needs to get himself out there. as a 21 year old prospect regardless of what he does in future i like his attitude and at least the fact he is fast tracked compared to some.
Boxing ability aside, I have been watching Fury, and I have seen his vids on youtube. He and his dad seem like first class douche bags. Saying that you could smoke Michael Spinks and that you could box the head off of George Foreman does'nt make you sound down to earth to me at all. I also watched an interview of him saying that he was a once in a lifetime talent. Not exactly down to earth if you ask me.
Im from essex and obviously rooting for the "Big Bad" man. But has he got a chance? I personally think its an intriguing contest which could do him alot of good.
