I agree 100% mate. It would be a great yet sad story in both book and movie form.

the guy had so much charm when I actually talked to him. The 2 young very good looking girls were eating him up at the restaurant. Apart from bones Adams, all the fighters that I've met at my restaurant had zero personality. If willie had the skill set and right direction he has the charisma to become an American icon.

Very respectful words there mate. I also agree with this, if his story got around, it could have a major impact on the lives of many people not just in America, but around the world.

through my travels with boxing i have met many willie chapmans, deluded guys that can fight a little but are a bit strange and constantly blaming other people for their current position

I enjoyed reading the article but I'm afraid Willie is going to get hurt by keeping on going to a certain number or a HW title, it's like Holyfield all over again except to a smaller scale of success.

I just got off the phone with my buddy who knows willie quite well and I wanted to talk to him about the article. He said willie has always been going through some **** but he always stays in the highest of spirits no matter what when he is around people. I asked him where willie lives and boy is it a bad hood. He also mentioned that the only reason willie has been inactive for the past year is because he can't afford the few hundred dollars to see a doctor in order to be cleared by the commission.

    This thread should be sticky.
