Is this the worst fight of all time? I just braved it for a second time first time since it was first on and i had this a draw.
The only thing that was bearable about watching that fight was that I had just watched the undercard of Pavlik-Miranda which had a lot of big punching in it. I thought Spinks deserved a close decision.
I tried to keep out of discussion about that fight..I watched it once..Didnt score it but thought it was very close..Didnt really have a problem with JT getting the nod at first glance. But I dont think I was really paying attention..I think I even missed a round or two. I was going to review it later and actually score it another day..But it was a real shitty fight and I just never did.
Dirrell/Stevens was not boring. If anything, it was interesting because you seldom see a fighter try that hard to avoid contact. Now fights with a lot of huggy bear clinches are truly boring. You know that guy named John Ruiz? Now he can put me to sleep.
Can you honestly say you were not bored watching Dirrell/Stevens, even the ringside comentators were bored out of their minds. Weren't Lederman and Merchant both saying it was the worst fight they had ever watched?
Yeah, it was a disgrace but also kind of comical. Ruiz is truly boring. And the fight was on Showtime, not HBO.
worst fight of recent times. billy dib vs steven luevano. It was 3 am over here and i missed the final round cos i fell asleep
Worst fight ever no doubt about it. Atleast with Ruiz fights theres actually some kind of action (hugging)
