no offense but you're very young or naaive if you think a fighter who was lucky enough to have taylor give him a fight is 'avoided'.

one thing you will learn on this board is that a fighter who doesnt have international exposure and doesnt try to improve that is never 'avoided'.

 

Had the ref not waved it off Jermain Taylor would be llike Gerald McClellan now. I boxing the result is EVERTHING. Doesn't matter if you KO yor opponent 14 secs afterr first bell or 14 secs from last bell. To simply say Taylor 'gassed' is quite ridiculous. Froch had been walking him down and putting the heat on for six rounds before Taylor eventually folded under a sustained onslaught. f Froch hurts you, he WILL finish you off

 

what you mean to say is that he fights like he does because nobody can nullify his approach....

thats called being smart - even if it does **** off the paying audience.

if you think he fights like a ***** then you get in the ring with his skills and see which method you like.

 

I don't like Froch cause he talks too much trash talking like he's the number 1 best in the world. I honestly don't like fighters that talk trash thinking they are the best in the world. I admit i was a Mayweather fan but when i realize that Mayweather is looking for opponents that are not a threat, i'm no longer his fan. Cotto has become a fan of mine cause he unlike Mayweather isn't afraid to take risk. Paul Williams may talk trash here and there but he's not Mayweather that talks too much trash but unlike Mayweather, Williams isn't sfraid to take risk.

 

Yes, he's great for boxing. He avoids no one and actively seeks the toughest fights. Remember that Lucian Bute turned down a chance to fight him. Froch was dead keen on that one!!

I also have him down to win, and not just because I'm a big fan.

Kessler is good but horrendously overrated.
Arthur is good but too small
Taylor is good but on the way down
Ward and Dirrell are also good but probably too inexperienced and don't hit hard enough to win the whole thing, although I expect them to win some fights

Yes he does talk trash but it's always been quite amusing.

And his record at 168 is better than any other SM now JC has gone so he is fully justified to claim to be number one

Well clearly the fighters who fought him didn't avoid him did they? But many have avoided him and several more have pulled out of fights. The time he fought that undefeated Polish fella, he was the FOURTH scheduled opponent, the others who included Inkin and Berrio agreed, but pulled out late. In fact Inkin has pulled out twice

i don't think jones or hopkins fought "that polish fella" because name fighters dont have to wait in line for anyone.

Froch's best two wins are clearly better fighters than the best wins on Kessler's record. Anyone who thinks otherwise might as well argue that black is really whiteatsch

 

like i said...kessler beat more legitimately ranked SMW fighters the 2 years leading up to the calzaghe fight than joe and froch combined.

You're obviously completely missing the point. A 10 fight amateur with a big punch can be 'avoided'. You don't have to be Jones or Hopkins to be avoided

 

That wasn't what I was saying though. I said Froch's two best wins are better than Kessler's best wins. Pascal and Taylor(away from home) are better fighters than Mundine and Andrade,much better.
