What 154 lb champions would you make an underdog to Floyd Mayweather?

There is probably a few more...Those off the top of my head Mayweather should beat quite clearly.

 

Dont know about Tito...though he could beat him.

Mayo...dont know there either. If we consider the best version of Mayo, his unorthodox and uninhibited aggression has spelt trouble for pure boxers before.
I suppose Mayo would probably be the betting underdog but I wouldnt make the odds to wide.

PBF just didnt look that sensational to me at 147-154.

First you say McCallum starched him..which he didnt. Then you say he did it twice..which even a 3 sec scramble to boxrec would tell you otherwise.

He was a legit titlist who gave a p4p superstar and ATG a pretty decent fight.

That version of Kalule is giving Floyd hell...you can bank on it.

 

No Way! Floyd is a great fighter, but No way in hell will he beat Simms, he's to fast, to strong and hard to hit!

 

He beats Mayorga who is a class below and gets schooled, you think FMJ can't do what Spinks did? Everyone loves Tito but he has no jab, isnt hard to hit, poor balance, and lost against all the prime boxer types he's met. All FMJ has to do is potshot and look out for the left hook, an over simplification but Tito doesnt match up well against boxer types, obviously he has size/power advantages

In answer to the Q he beats plenty but won't look like a Pretty Boy doing it in most cases as hes so small at the weight

 

Mayorga is super strong and hits like a mule (at the lower weight) though at his best against Forrest, he would be hitting Floyd all over and Floyd doesn't have the power to keep Mayorga off of him like others. His footspeed and movement is great but Mayorga is not someone he can do a 'B-Hop vs Pavlik' on; he is unpredictable and wild.

Tito I think is all wrong for Floyd. He has fairly fast feet, a good jab and put together combos well. I'm sorry but he's as bad for Floyd at 154 as Jackson is IMO. Durable at the weight, hits super hard, fairly good skills.

I do rate Floyd, but not at 154. Once when there was a Floyd vs McCallum thread people went for Floyd. It's madness.

I hate Luis Santana, he's such a ***** for his two acting jobs in the first two Terry Norris fights.

 

Sad at how Tito has become so underrated these past couple of years. You make Tito out to be some Randall Bailey type slugger.

Tito had a good jab and good balance after he would get knocked down early.

I don't know how well Mayweather with Mayorga.

Mayorga may not be the best ever at anyweight, but he was a formidable foe at 154. Mayorga tore into Vernon Forrest on two occasions. Mayorga held his ground with Shane Mosley. Mosley is not as slick as Mayweather, but is stronger and more powerful.

 

I think all Floyd has to do is what DLH did. Stand back, let Mayorga punch himself out, then move in for the kill.
