    a couple of years ago he looked like a good prospect then doesnt fight for 2 year and comes back and gets beat twice and got stopped for the first time by unknown Russell Jordan

    That shows the effects of ring rust. Lets hope PBF suffers from it too....
    Seriously, by looking at boxrec, he fought a very old, very shot Golden Johnson to a draw and drew with a Miguel Figeroa. This suggests he wasen't too good in the first place (although these both could be dodgy draws). Also to be put in with a very good boxer like Saul Alvarez after a loss is a very bad idea.

    Maybe he figured out what he was getting himself into with Mike Jones and started faking injuries..

    I saw him against Saul Alvarez, and he looked like an old fighter. Looked flabby and even his handspeed had gone downhill.

    He still took 8 of the 10 rounds in that fight. He landed more punches, he boxed him, he landed harder punches, and he had canelo up against the ropes doing nothing for the magority of 2 rounds. GAIL VAN OY must judged that fight. Canela did absolutely nothing in that fight. NOTHING!
