has a record of 64 wins and 2 loses had good power but didnt have the best chin with his to loses coming by knock out went unbeaten in 49 fight and has wins over some good figthers
brian was the classic euro fighter who beat past his prime contenders. i was working on the door at a club in holstebro, denmark, when the fight with tyson was due - and the PPV feed got cancelled because there wasnt enough interest. good fighter who maybe could have fringed top 10 heavy legitimately, but thats about it.
He was nothing special, but he could take a punch like nobody else. His losses was because of dehydration and against Tyson, he felt, he'd done enough, and quit. Mogens Palle made the absolute most of that career, almost surpassing Marcianos record
dont mention palle again irony is brian was the fattest ****er of his career for the tyson fight for my mind. even tyson made fun of him on danish television before the fight. but agreed, brian had a chin and heart.
I spoke to a guy, who fought Brian in the amateurs, and he said that he hit Brian with an enormous uppercut, coming all the way from the floor, Froch-style, and catching him directly on the chin, and Brian just shook his head and fought on. But as a Danish boxing fan, I'm slightly embarrassed talking about his career...
its a credit to you that you can say that. there will always be fans on here who try to defend a fighter simply because of national allegiance.
