A country made up of immigrants who then have the cheek to give latino "immigrants" a hard time , A country with no History of its own except that of the native americans who were conviently ****ed over......A country who's military has "all the gear & no ****in idea" & thats straight from the horses mouth from lads I know in Iraq & who use British special forces for most of the serious covert ops (you can check that out) , A country that breeds more serial killers & murderers than any other in the world , A country who is universally dispised as the big bully that it is..............**** me I really wish I was american.....:rofl

Man...how can you not like Hatton?? His comments were great. He's a really funny guy...I see why Britain goes crazy for him. I wish he pulled it out against Floyd, but it more then likely aint happening. Hope he proves me wrong though.

I've been busy for a while so I've only just seen this.

You've made huge sweeping assumptions here that don't apply to the majority of people. You make mention of the undercover report on the racist element within the police force, yet imply that it was a large number of police. It wasn't. It was a minority who were immediately fired upon release of this information. The slection processes are biased towards ethnic minorities in order to increase their representation in the force; it actively seeks to reduce any racist behaviour.

The racist element is a minority that you'll find in all professions. How do you propose it's completely eliminated? I'll answer for you; you can't. People need to be educated, but you're always likely to end up with 'a few bad eggs'.

As for the figure you provided regarding stop and search policy, you fail to provide any other figures, namelt that black youths are the largest single group of offenders, proportionally, in the country. Is it surprising therefore that they are subject to more police checks? There have been Muslim complaints that the new anti-terrorist stop and search powers are used almost exclusively on the Islamic community. In itself that may seem racist, but when you consider that the largest terrorist threat is an Islamic one, then it makes more sense.

As for the education system, your evidence is the opinion of one man, an opinion that many others in the system disagree with. The problem isn't that the system is racist, it is more to do with problems faced by the pupils outside of school.

If these results came about from a situation where all children started equal, then you may have a point but that isn't the case. Of the pupils going into these schools, a higher proportion of those from broken homes are black. In other words, the problems are much deeper than you suggest and start well before the education system.

Do you honestly believe that it is solely the fault of the education system that so many black children underachieve? I think if you looked at comparisons between rich and poor children you'd see the same pattern. The problem is a cultural one, not one created by a racist system. Eliminating the culture that is especially prevalent among, but not exclusive to, black men in this country where having multiple children to multiple women is acceptable, would change the levels of achievement in school far more than education reforms.

After watching Floyd whispering sweet nuthins in his ear and practically kissng whim while doing it in LA??? I was suprised hatton handled it so calmly. It seems obvious that patience runs thin, mine wouldnt have lasted that long:lol:

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl That's entirely appropriate.

Perhaps Hatton shouldnt have said **** on daytime TV?? But spending enough time with a ****ing ******* like Floyd? Can drive a man a little crazy, I suppose.

You contradict yourself and also make "sweeping statements", you claim i haven't provided "any other figures" when you've failed to provide ANY at all!!, your whole post is simply speculation and personal opinion, i've provided articles from the NATIONAL MEDIA that back up my claims, and furthermore opinions regarding the education system was not "the opinion of one man" and if you wasn't so idle you would see that the second article i provided on this thread by the guardian confirmed it was an opinion held by many people within the industry, and you're also steroetyping!!, "oh a lot of black kids are offenders so they should be checked most" BOLLOCKS!!, have you ever heard the quote INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY?, but the scum poilce force abuse that exercise to the fullest just to try and intimidate black youth, and i won't even get into the debate about the bnp and how they are growing every year!!.. because of course their just a "minority".

Look, I'm not disagreeing that racism exists over her and I don't believe anybody ever claimed otherwise. The point that was made was that the UK isn't an inherently racist place; the average man on the streets isn't racist, it's more to do with a small ill-informed minority. The BNP may have grown, but only in small areas. It's still tiny and is only a minority. To claim they are of any meaningful size is nonsense. That they aren't represented at all in the house of commons bears this out.

You've also taken my comment the wrong way regarding the stop and search. I wasn't implying all black people were criminals and so they should be stopped, I was suggesting that such a stereotype exists and the police are working on that basis, rightly or wrongly. It's not because all police are racist.

I'm not going to continue to argue this because I honestly think we're both on the same page regarding this kind of problem. I just don't believe that the education system and the police are the only problems, nor are they inherently racist; other changes need to be made by both parties for anything to happen.

This thread has become a clash of different cultures, just like the talking between Mayweather and Hatton. For example in a place like Manchester Floyd's trash can only provoke laughter, as it did. His kind of trash only works within the borders of the social environment Pretty Boy belongs to, which is certainly not in England.

Let's hope the fight will become such a clash as the talking...
