I know lots of people are going to chime in with 'who the F knows until fight night' but just want your opinion. I believe JMM is more accurate and will have better stamina even at this weight. Also Marquez will not give up the way judah does

    very good post.

marquez is clearly a more complete fighter than judah and he should be more effective over 12 - but the million dollar question is how well does the extra weight affect him ?

its a tough one to answer but i will say this - if marquez is less effective than judah, remebering that marquez isn't a young man anymore, then it certainly won't diminish marquez's status as one of the premier fighters of this era.

When when people realize that the #2 P4P guy is great at what he does

Thats exactly right, Marquez is great at what he does, however what he does will play into Mayweathers hands. Mayweather will counter him coming in. I've said it before, the younger Marquez with the more patient, boxer style would give Mayweather fits However he realised he needed to change his stlye to get bigger fight for bigger money (as opposed to fighting Chris John for $32,000 in Indonesia).

marquez got the short end of the stick way too often because he was poorly managed for a few years. he also got stripped of a title because there was no purse bid - no fault of his own.

being a lower weight fighter always makes big money fights few and far between, which is why lower weight fights come together easier than higher profile fighters.

    No. Marquez can't hurt Floyd.

No i don't think so. Mayweather will have the speed and the strength advantage and will keep catching him coming in.

I don't see Floyd trading with JMM. I see him giving JMM a boxing lesson. Although I wouldn't count JMM out just yet. He is a very smart counter puncher and PBF knows that very well. Watching 24/7 shows me that Marquez is very focused in this fight and I see combinations, lots of combinations coming from Marquez. Also, just by watching that, I see JMM giving Pacquiao another very competitive fight in LW or at WW.

Judah don't have the "Heart" needed to beat an elite fighter.
(He can't take what he gives)

I think Marquez will to win at all costs and put his life on the line already makes him a bigger test than Judah.

I agree with you, though I think Mayweather will still pass the test. I can't wait to see how both men perform this coming up weekend.

JMM will push Floyd farther than he used to. Judah and Marquez are nothing alike. Marquez will pressure, with a high volume. He'll take early rounds while Floyd adjusts. JMM also adjusts.

Judah posed the bigger challenge to Floyd for the 1st 4 rounds. But Judah fade expoenentially thereafter..

Marquez is typically a slow starter and will gradually figure Floyd out around 5th or 6th round and eventually beat Floyd.
