The way i see this fight playing out, is marquez will win early rounds off aggression, floyd spends the early rounds figuring out his opponents...

I expect floyd to use ring generalship as his key to victory, marquez will spend most of the time trying to find floyd, and floyd in the process is going to pot shot marquez most of the night........i expect to see some exchanges when mayweather is on the ropes....with floyd getting the better of the exchanges, marquez I think wil be going to the body when mayweather is stationary.....

my perdiction a close but clear mayweather win....115-113 or 116-112.....I would not be suprised if one judge scores it a draw....marquez will look good the first half of the fight, and then about rounds 4-7 floyd takes over and wins most of the rounds....

The difference in this fight will be heart...all other variables will not matter in this fight, guys. Floyd is on his victory lap and is only back for the money. JMM is fighting for glory. He realizes that he will cement his legacy with a victory here and is willing to die in the ring.

    JMM KO in 10!!

I hate to say this..but bazooka's right. Mayweather dont just want to win this fight. He wants to look good doing it. Marquez and Mayweather both kind of start out slow and get stronger as the fight goes on. So, it will start out as a jabing contest with both guys going for counters then once somebody lands the first big shot(I have no doubt Marquez is throwing heat first) then if it lands Floyd will get into a fight. If you actually watch Floyd if a guy gets a good shot on him he HAS to answer back and asap. He dont back peddle if you tag him. Then its going to be a sight of skill vs skill. I think Marquez is the better and most def more braver combination puncher as Marquez will let his combinations go no matter what you do. Mayweather is the better more accurate counter puncher.. Mayweather gets his counters in real quick. Marquez loads up and goes for the KO and misses a few times before he eventually gets closer and closer. Watching the Diaz fight I seen his eyes when Diaz started to bend forward from fatigue and the body punching and he landed that first uppercut that stood diaz straight up..then Diaz..got in that same crouch and Marquez knew at that point he was going to knock him out. You see the light bulb go off in his head.

I agree i think this might become a war, as Mayweather will try a make a point and lose some focus in doing so, this is what JMM will jump on.

Nah, Mayweather will pick Marquez apart bit by bit. He'll box and counter Marquez without putting himself in harms way. Marquez will eat the canvas a few times before he's finally stopped in the 8th. It'll be exciting, at times, but Floyd will do what he does best and stride to a KO in 8.

There is no war for part of Mayweather. He always runs in the ring.

If I'm in team Marquez, I'm already putting in a request for the officials to watch Floyd's left elbow on the inside that he likes to use to push off when he delivers his straight right hand. (Just throw it out there that it's a concern)

Also, Watch the constant clinches & shoulder pushoff's PBF is also famous for.

This will be the first time Floyd fights someone who has the same tendancy to throw a straight power shot without setting it up with a traditional jab first. (Since Judah)

I look foward to seeing JMM's straight right to the body land on Floyd's exposed left side.
whatever scenerio takes place, This will be a very good fight.

    War Marquez!

I'm pretty sure all believe Mayweather is going into this one to make a statement. IF he goes in with that mentality 100% then the chances of him losing are very high.

Marquez, despite the weight, is NOT someone to make a statement on whoever you are. He's not A class and P4P#2 for nothing.

If Mayweather does blow Marquez out in quick/statement making fashion then he deserves a lot of credit for it.

I think it will be an enjoyable fight to watch. Marquez isn't one to procrastinate. He will throw fairly frequently in combination (he puts punches together better than anyone in the sport), and as a result, Mayweather will return fire.

I don't think it will be a total war, although i can see Mayweather timing Marquez with some pretty big shots and Marquez firing up. It should be a great technical battle with a higher than usual pace for a Mayweather fight. Mayweather hasn't fought a fighter with the timing, accuracy and combination punching ability of Marquez, so if he shells up on the ropes in a fairly static fashion like he frequently does, Marquez should actually get through (unlike Oscar who flurried ineffectively) and Mayweather will know he is in a fight.

There will have plenty of war I suspect. JMM is always underrated. I didn't really realize how much bigger he's gotten until later in episode 3 when he was wearing that long sleeved yellowish shirt. He looks good.

He may actually hit harder than Floyd. We will see. Don't forget, JMM could end up cracking Floyd's ribs, and then it will get even more challenging for Floyd.

JMM is going to really push Floyd in this fight.
