Of the top of my head I think its Joe Louis. At heavyweight he beat Primo Carnero, Max Baer, James Braddock, Jack Sharkey, Max Schmeling, Ezzard Charles, Rocky Marciano and Jersey Joe Walcott. Also which boxer has beat the most lineal champs in multiple divisions?

I just meant fought, but even is not counting that fight he still beat 7 men who at one point had been a lineal champ (Joe Calzaghe only fought 9 past present or current ABC champs, never mind lineal). I was gonna say who beat the most lineal champs in multiple weight divisions but then I realised that some boxers beat opponents who were lineal in multiple divisons which confused it (eg Pacqiuao beating Oscar De La Hoya, Eric Morales and Marco Antonio Barrera).

As I say in most of these kind of threads...its probably Greb.

Edit: Actually if its just one divvy, that might not be the case.

Exactly. It's a weird question because clearly it's likely to be a heavyweight (more likely to fight their whole career at one weight and to fight other fighters who fought their whole career at one weight) and someone who fought for a long time and at a time when there was no one dominant champion. Not sure what the relevance is.
