Cotto is 2-3 in his last 5 fights in my book

I felt The Clottey-Cotto fight could have went either way...and Cotto was in a close fight with Mosley,but clearly won

 

Alot of people listen to the media too much Put the volume on mute so you dont ear brainwash larry and max and NVM linderman then score round by round.

Cotto is 4-5 in his last 5 , go check it out at boxrec if u don't believe it! That huge cut he had against Clottey was a huge factor in the way he fought. Pac is a smart fighter i expect nothing but his best from him on fight night. I dont think he will make any mistakes they have a plan and they will execute it to the tee. Whether that plan will get them the win is a diff story.

 

I scored both fights for Cotto.

The Clottey fight was very close but I had Cotto winning 114-113.

The fight with Shane wasn't contraversial at the time - I certainly can't remember too many people claiming he should have got the nod. It was a good, competative fight but Miguel won it.

 

I scored the Cotto/Mosley fight 6-5-1 for Mosely

I had Cotto up by 1 point against Clottey, the KD won him the fight especially in a round Clottey was clearly winning.

atsch you need to learn how to score fights. Mosley i had a COMFORTABLE win, Clottey by three points too.

IMO Cotto is 4 - 0 1 No contest in his last 5 fights.

Oh, My Bad. I am just so used to seeing those kinda of responses when I am critical of Miguel Cotto. I guess its ok for "YOU" to be critical...and people simply say that your opinion and your scoring is inaccurate.

Anyway...My response: I actually scored both fights as Cotto Wins...(Well Actually Clottey Lost that fight, more than Cotto won it). How a fighter (African Fighter) actually thought he was going to win a decision vs. a Boricua fighter on the night before the PR Parade by being IN-ACTIVE (laying against ropes taking punches)....In the Words of OCHO CINCO..."CHILD PLEASE".

I have seen Cotto look AWFUL (Torres, Clottey and of course Margarito) But the Mosley fight...Cotto looked good. NOT GREAT OR IMPRESSIVE...BUT SIMPLY GOOD. People (Cotto Fans) were saying..."WOW he out-boxed Mosley". Well Mosley is not a CLASSIC BOXER. Mosley is a PUNCHER with speed. He doesn't win with Jabs, and Classic Boxing Skill...He Throws POWER SHOTS and can flat out PUNCH.

As far as the Pacman fight: If it goes the distance...I got Cotto...He's bigger and can wear Pacman down. However, Pacman is a HURRICANE within the first 4 rounds...He will throw a TON punches...With Cotto's lack of defense...CAN HE STAND THE PRESSURE??? If it ends early...PACMAN!!!

People need to get the **** off of Cotto's back & start appreaciating what a fighter he is! I mean, he hasn't ducked anyone, never shyed away from fighting the best. Margarito beat him, but Cotto took a hiding, he was spent by the time the fight was stopped! Question marks remain over how legitament the win for Margarito was?

Cotto has fought a very high calibre of oppoent for al ong time!

People are selling this guy well short in respect of him facing Pacquiao!
