Im kinda excited as November 10 approaches since that is the date when my first fight will take place. I just wanna get in that ring and get it over with. I know I'm excited now but I feel as if I'm gonna be nervous the closer the fight is.

good for you. Try to imagine yourself in the ring and how you'll react to various situations...keep doing so every day.

Definitely agree with Illamtic. Spar as much as possible; and have your coach make it as much like a fight as possible; desensitize yourself as much as possible; maybe even have people come to watch you spar so you don't get nervous sparring in front of people. That will help the nerves you will naturally get a lot. Trust me, I have huge problems with nerves and the desensitization and making yourself comfortable in the ring is really important; that and getting the experience. See if your coach knows anything about your opponent, too. The more you know, the better.

    Yeah, goodluck man.
If I can give any advice it be to just go in there and do what you've been trained to do, your not there to impress anyone, just fight for yourself and nothing else.
You will get nervous before the fight, I know for my first first I didn't get nervous up until 20-30min before the fight and as time got closer and closer the pressure just kept building up. But once you step in the ring and that bell rings, everything goes away.

Try to stay relaxed best you can. Whenever I am extremely nervous I don't seem to do so well. My first few fights I was shaking uncontrollably. I got tired very fast cause adrenaline doesn't last forever. Just stay calm and just do what you do.

    Good luck mate!
My advise would be to as much road work as posible and get your conditioning at peak. From my experience, in the first few fights you will get tired like hell very very fast... Therefore even if your oponenent has better skills and technique, but you are better conditioned 90% chance that victory will be in your hands. This is just from mine experience, For first 5 fights what matters most is conditioning mate. Good luck and post how it went!

That's the truth man. People here only care about Pacquiao and basketball. That's it. The only time they care about boxing is when Pacquiao has a fight which irks me at times because they claim to be boxing fans.
